F-104S Mod Pack
Catfish replied to Spillone104's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - File Announcements
Risolto! Paying attention at your data.INI I see F-104S systemname referinng to a pilot, with modelname named as the mod folder. I copied the folders into pilot folder and now I got a real complete F-104S series Thankes -

I'm playing SF2E with NATO Fighters 4+ (latest patch). In the modding forum somebody told me to use the content of the mod folders (i.e. F-104S_CB_mod) as additional weapons... -
turn F-104G to F-104S
Catfish replied to Catfish's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - Mods & Skinning Discussion
I tried to copy again the entire folders tree from the downloaded package but I still have the same problem. The aircraft viewed with the external camera it's a simple F-104G without the S-mod files. I didn't find problem withweapons or something else... simply the plane is a 104G and not a 104S. Should I try to merge in some way the INI files of the 104G with the INI mods files for the 104S? -

hello Regarding the F-104S mod pack http://combatace.com/files/file/10940-f-104s-mod-pack/ by Spillone104 How can I edit the files in order to view the changes that come within the F-104S xxx mod folder? At the time my external views are of F-104G without the antennas, ECM dispensers and the finns of the S versions... Briefly, how should I use the mods folders in order to turn a 104G in a 104S? -

Catfish replied to Catfish's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - Mods & Skinning Discussion
it doesn't... I still see the probe. I didn't understand what is "Meshname". I just copy this in DATA.INI Component[008]=Remove1 [Remove1] ParentComponentName=MeshName ModelNodeName=MeshName DestroyedNodeName=MeshName DetachWhenDestroyed=TRUE HasAeroCoefficients=FALSE -

I'm trying to remove the air-refueling probe from the Mirage Factory Mirage 2000 AdA I think it's called "perche", since removing the entries below from data.ini I was able to remove it from the cocpit view: Component[008]=Perche [Perche] ParentComponentName=Nose ModelNodeName=Perche ShowFromCockpit=True There's a way to remove it also from external view? -

Difficulty options... what do you use and why?

In my few a2g missions I only use the map to identify the target... but since it's tipically a runway, I haven't target identification issue... -
Since SF2 Exp 2 Mission Editor
Catfish posted a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
Since I installed EXP 2 I set up dogfights with no wingmen on my side against 1, 2 or 3 boogies. I usually fly '60s and '70s planes, such as slatted Phantom E/Kurnass, Shahak, and some tricked planes such as F-104S, MiG-21Bis and also F-14D. The opponents I chose are various and could be F-4, Su-35, MiG Family, heavy bombers... For air to ground mission I used to smash airports, ie. attack Bitburg on a Su-17M. Looking for other ideas, what kind of mission do you plans?
