  1. Were you Wing Commander or X-Wing?

X-wing, and they need to come out with a new one soon......
  2. Flickering clouds

From earlier discussions on this subject.... Hope this helps. http://combatace.com...popping-issues/
  3. I was snooping around the net to see if anyone build WWI or WWII era joysticks, and stumbled upon this.... http://simhq.com/for.../2849902/1.html Looks like a cool project.
  4. Here's some more info: http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?t=18201 it looks like there will be a German campaign: "The player will join the British Air Force to fight the German forces and renegade pilots on his own side, or join the German Luftwaffe and take part in meticulously recreated historical battles. "
  5. funky bridges

I see bridges through clouds... I also see dead people, but that's not a video issue. NVIDIA GTX 280.
  6. funky bridges

I don't know why, but I've observed the same effect.
  7. In Cockpit Pilots

I voted yes. My only concern would be body parts blocking views of critical instruments like floor mounted compasses.
  8. GHOSTS of the Great War

I have one on my wall at work each year.
  9. Hi Coyote, I built my own rig about a year ago. It was a first time build for me. It was easier than I thought it would be. After a bit of research, I used Tiger Direct mainly to buy the components, and it pretty much fell together. The guys on this site were a big help. I'm afraid I don't keep up with the latest computer trends, but I'm sure you could build my rig for a song now, and it was under $2000 when I built it. Through Dell it would have cost a fortune. ....Just some words of encouragement if you go down the build yourself route. Velvet
  10. OT, Daft UK Laws

Ohio law: It is illegal to get a fish drunk. I'd like to know what event inspired that one.
  11. Track IR settings: Speed 1 Smooth 31 Generaly my FPS are around 50-59.

  13. Check out the Winter issue of "Over the Front" the cover features a Nupe 16 painted like a cow. Flown by Paul Pavelka of Escadrille Americaine N.124.
  14. Vote: Best Field Modification

I think I'd have to try fishing for fokkers (or maybe for early Alb C models in P4?) at least once in a BE2C. My favorite suggestion would be the extra drum of ammo for the Nupes, it will help my pray & spray style of markmanship.
  15. How about a long rope and hook on the Be2c, to try and snag those pesky Fokkers.
