  1. Thanks Olham, and Grommit. You should have it repainted in German markings and fly it. Now that would be a lovely add-on. Flyable repainted enemy craft if you get them down in tact! Unfortunately the Air Ministry apparetnly took mine for testing! ZZ. Speaking of oddities......I got this shot a few days ago....I parked in a hanger after a flight, just to see if it worked. It did. I think someone else mentioned it here, so I tried it. Wierd thing is, in the right hand corner of the machine shed, after I took this picture, I noticed a guy standind in the corner that I swear looked like he was taking a leak. Guess I'll have to park again and get another shot. lol Ps...Ps. Precisely Blue....a round on everyone!
  2. "Its like no cheese I've ever tasted." ZZ.
  3. Another OFF Immersive Moment

On my last sortie, I had a HOTAS malfunction that make my control inputs only work intermittantly. But this just added to the immersion. I rationalized this as a turnbuckle stripping out on the control cables or some such that killed so many pilots. And of course, I'm hardwired to think, "I coulda landed that." So I flew the damn thing down to a "good landing" (as in I walked away from the wreckage) instead of just jumping out of the game, DiD pilot and all. Take that, Zoomzoom! Excellent work Bullet!....Salute And the "I coulda landed that" contest continues. ZZ. PS.. "I coulda landed that one with my free hand and my best girlie in the other arm..."
  4. Can't speak for Trakir, but if you wanted to try something out for less $ to see if you really like it, you might try FreeTrack. I set mine up using an old WiiMote as the Rx-Cam, and three red Led's on a baseball cap, and its pretty amazing. Had to get a blue-tooth adapter for the pc, but other than that its pretty cheap and effective. ZZ. If you already have a webcam you dont even need the adapter for blutooth.
  5. Rig that Albatros up with a net bro! ZZ.
  6. The joys of being a tailgunner.... . . . Attached image(s) Resized to 42% (was 1056 x 764) - Click image to enlarge Hey Bullet!! Thanks for puttin me in the tail gunners seat!! ZZ. PS......I coulda landed that!!!!!
  7. Combat Flying Tips

Let us know what machines you are driving right now, and we can refine some survival/victory tips for you, as the aircraft are all different, and have unique qualities in combat. ZZ.
  8. OOOps. Maybe I should let you guys in on a secret. Albitri, with thier sleek torpedo like fuselages, double as submarines. So what you are witnessing here is a classic evasion maneuver. He'll show up at the nearest dock in a few hours and be back to fight again tomorrow! ZZ. Keep trying though, yer getting closer.
  9. Top screenshots needed

These may or may not be of the resolution/quality you need. If not, thats alright, it was worth a try. ZZ.
  10. Wow....again amazing. Reminds me of the times in Rickenbackers accounts that Jimmy Meissner shredded and lost most of the fabric off of his wings yet made it home on a number of occasions...(apparantly he had a penchant for doing this)...with it flapping in the wind like a flag. Some pilots these boys were....puts us to shame. ZZ.
  11. Geesh Olham....you are like my long lost "Brother from another Mother". I was just getting into the historical biography of Rene Fonck over the past two days. I reaaallly like his style.....he just could've used a good dose of humility and personability apparently. Even so, you can't argue with his success record! ZZ. Ps...if you are interested in any of these pics for your article, you are welcome. I'm afraid the resolution may not be the quality you are seeking though.
  12. one more....YAY I'm not stupid anymore. Thanks for the assitance guys. ZZ.
  13. Wow, thanks for the attempted help guys, but its still a no go. There is no "Use full Editor" at the bottom of my type box. And when I try an attachment anyway, this is what I get: Error You aren't permitted to upload this kind of file. Maybe its cause they are still bmp's? and i need to convert them to JPEGS? Let me give that a try. ZZ.
  14. Top screenshots needed

Olham, I have a few you might be interested in....only I don't know how to get them to you, as I can't seem to upload images without them being hosted somewhere. Any suggestions? ZZ.
  15. Truly amazing. Great find Olham, you cant keep a good Albatros down. Bet that guys face looked a bit like a lobster for a few days. Maybe he pulled the trick that I've heard some other WWI flyers did and got out on the wing, away from the flames, and steered it in from out there, reaching one hand in to grab the stick. away fromthe heat! ZZ.
  16. So, how exactly does one go about posting images here? Without some place to upload them already online? ZZ.
  17. Playmate of the Month...

Lame. ZZ. The undue praise for ROFL that is, (and yes I intended to spell it that way). OFF SHOULD get Sim of the year.
  18. Hey, try this. http://wwi-cookup.com/albatros/index.html Click on the planes you like and there are descriptions of different makers and images of folks who have built them.....the models, not the people. ZZ.
  19. Congrats Herr Rittmeister! ZZ.
  20. News From The Front!

Very cool, please post more. ZZ.
  21. Oooh. Keeping mum. ZZ. Ps. Love your post-war Spad colors. Very nice....if only they had the brass to use those schemes DURING the conflict. Would have shown that not only the Germans have artistic flair, and the gumption to use it!
  22. Weeeeeell, nobody seems to be firing at the last few targets. Is it legal for me to have another go? I forgot the rules on this. ZZ.
  23. I am impressed Olham. One reason is, that I know I would'nt be handling the language barrier nearly as well as you if everything was in German.......not even close. ZZ.
