  1. Sounds like the trigger button has been mapped to change view? Try remapping your buttons, trigger.....and save it once you're happy. Good luck.....
  2. Out of the loop...

Yikes!!!! I'd be crushed were I not able to flap around here in BHAH 2....been such a fixture for what seems forever. So many physical things I used to love have gone by the board, I increasingly rely on old friends like this. So.....God speed you a swift and complete recovery so you can gobble up all the eye candy.....good luck!!!
  3. The Recon Wars update is a treat and beautiful to explore....but it's a slow slide into the dirt. How ANY of those guys survived is a mystery...most didn't by all accounts. Been having fun taking on the role w/ all the extras but wind up w/ a dirt nap 80% of the time....and that includes dumping any load any scrurrying for cover at THE FIRST SIGN of opposition. Maybe I need to polish my observer gun skills....but it's damn discouraging....how's the rest of you doing?
  4. How To WOFF!

Side note....if I find myself really enjoying a campaign (not dead after 10 missions)....it means I have to slip into the other guys shoes. Thx to the fabulous documentation that comes w/ WOFF....you can look up the "other guys" in the breifing room tab "enemy squads". The closest bad chaps seem to show up first....so sign up a pilot (you still have to designate squad, place, and time) and head upstairs to meet yourself on the other side....it's endlessly fascinating.
  5. How To WOFF!

My show "Chasing Classic Cars" pulled the plug this year after 13 seasons.....I'll miss the work.....more time to fly!
  6. How To WOFF!

very cool....thx Rick......never knew about the joystick damping adjustments
  7. pray remind me

    sounds reasonable! Thx.... Makes sense
  8. pray remind me

All good and sage advise......thank you. The enemy range thingie was well documented and clear, thank you. I was asking about the different colored lines on the mission map between waypoints....orange, red, and green? Thx
  9. pray remind me

OK.....next! What are the colored lines on the breifing map? Does lowering one's fuel load add performance? (everybody else seems to rocket around regardless.....EA overspeed dives undamaged, soaring performance while I'm wallowing impotently under the furball)....and I think I have to reduce rear gunner from "normal".....I'm totally hosed everytime I come even close to a two seater such that I often chicken out when one appears and circle discretely aside while pounding the attack button. This is no complaint....I swear...and no doubt ALL these answers are written large on an FAQ or fact sheet painstakingly wrintten out to suit the meanest understanding by the devs. But my understanding seems to be inadequate to the task so I beg your good offices....thx Just flew a mission in a Pup....and the transluscent panels in the upper wing are perfect....what beautiful work....thx all.
  10. Well.....thx to you guys...this has been a game changer. I realize it's anathema to purists on campaign.....but the ability to save the heart stopping missions, and replay them, to Scenarios is marvelous. Droning on thru missions where nobody shows up for the dance much of the time....and I could feel the ennuie that no doubt those guys did....until there was another murderous scramble that you manged to survive, or not. Next experiment is to try and save a campaign mission where I die to scenarios, if it's even possible, and see if I can beat the reaper?? The only variable I've seen replaying saved missions is weather....which seems to change at random....maybe a setting in Workshops? Anyhow....THX!!!
  11. thx all.....haven't plumbed JJJ's mod.....but thank you Pol and BB....will do! Much Obliged!!!
  12. Quick combat gives us all the variables one could wish for....save one unless I err (hope so). I'd like to create missions (save as scenario) over the water....the textures of reflections, splashed bad chaps, and the possibilty of a bbq on the beach are irresistable. The devs have given us moveable waypoints in "Campaign" mode...and I've irresponsibly drug #1 over the beach just for the visuals. Any way to designate a beach point in quick combat, "combat" over the water...or to a specific place? Done the mountains in Alsace....wonderful, but failed to push QC encounters over the water....and then be able to save them... "save as scenario"....to go back and relish the beauty of this sim. I've enlisted in RNAS and the water's there on occaision....but would love to custom make an appalling dogfight over the beaches at will.....try to survive and go back again till I get it right....an "edge of tomorrow" version for WOFF!!! Thx.....GAW
  13. start me pls

to be sure....a lot to absorb but worth it....I'll get there. new keystrokes....ageing brain. thx
  14. start me pls

absolutely......I was looking for a cue to join squad X at such and such a date with plane X for the best chance to look at the new deal for Recon.......and perhaps your notes for Recon Wars is just that. No problem....just my impatiece to jump in and stare about....I'll absorb it eventually w/ a bit of application I expect. Thx
  15. start me pls

Whoa......my bad....looks like Pol has set up a site for just this....and I failed to look for it.
