In the Javelin folder, there is a folder called "Javelin_DATA", inside, there is a Javelin_DATA.ini!! Where I put this file?? In Javelin folder there is already, a Javelin_DATA.ini?? Is a same file?? Thanks in advance!! -

Ne approfitto per chiederti alcune cose in merito: 1) ---= Notes for Vista Users: PLEASE NOTE: the following information is for thse Vista Users that have NOT patched to 9/08 or 10/08 levels. These patches have repaired the CTD that was caused by the terrain shaders. SF2 Users should also experience no issues... With the water effects turned on in the data ini, you'll probably experience CTDs when either exiting a mission or at mission start. As we all know, this is a pretty easy fix, by eliminated the shader effects.... In the SCal_Data.ini, look for the following lines [NormalTextureMaterial] UseEffectShader=TRUE EffectShaderName=TerrainEffect.fx DepthBufferCheck=TRUE DepthBufferWrite=TRUE [WaterTextureMaterial] UseEffectShader=TRUE EffectShaderName=WaterEffect.fx DepthBufferCheck=TRUE DepthBufferWrite=FALSE Simply comment out the Shader and Effect lines; it should look like this after your edits: [NormalTextureMaterial] //UseEffectShader=TRUE //EffectShaderName=TerrainEffect.fx DepthBufferCheck=TRUE DepthBufferWrite=TRUE [WaterTextureMaterial] //UseEffectShader=TRUE //EffectShaderName=WaterEffect.fx DepthBufferCheck=TRUE DepthBufferWrite=FALSE This will eliminate the CTDs caused by the shaders. Leggendo alcuni post precedenti, su questo sito, ho notato che abbiamo un problema in comune. Mi riferisco al fatto di avere Vista, e di non riuscire a patchare “Strike Fighters - Flight Simulator” della FX Interactive, e di avere problemi con l’inserimento delle nuove armi (Weapon Editor…etc….etc). Io, ho aperto per questo problema, vari posts su CACE, e nel forum della Third Wire, senza sinora risolvere il problema!! Se anche Voi potreste partecipare, sottolineando il fatto di non esser l’unico ad avere questo problema, forse potremmo arrivare ad una soluzione!! D’altro canto, l’unione fa la forza!!! Download finale dal sito Microsoft per le DirectX, eseguito 5 minuti fa, è tutto a posto!!!! Comprare SFP1, credo sia impossibile, sul sito ThirdWire non è più disponibile, cosa invece possibile per SFG!!! :yes: Ne approfitto per chiederlo a te : "se butto 9 euro per aquistarlo, intendo SFG e non SFP1??" -

Figurati!!! Comunque ho 41 anni, e di esperienza col PC ne ho fatta, forse ne ho poca in fatto di "simulatoria" come tu dici!!! Rovinare le DX10 installando l'ultima versione di DX9 è una grandissima cazzata!!!! Mai sentito una baggianata del genere!! Io ho Vista, e per avere le DX aggiornate, basta scaricare l'ultima uscita da Microsoft, standalone o web installer!! Cosa che io ho fatto da tempi remoti, quindi le mie DirectX sono aggiornatissime!!! Detto questo, temo che il problema sia nel fatto che: 1) SFG e SFP1 della ThirdWire in inglese non danno nessun problema di sorta, con le opportune modifiche sia in Vista che in XP!!! 2) Strike Fighters - Flight Simulator della FX Merdactive da una marea di problemi con Vista e, per sentito dire...... nessun problema su XP 3) Strike Fighters - Flight Simulator della FXZozzatcive viene venduto e pubblicizzato per girare su XP e Vista......vedi sito FX. ....ma non ti dicono che il gioco su Vista lo devi usare così com'è!!!!!! Senza poter aggiungere un cazzo, tranne qualche aereo!!! 4) Io ho anche aquistato, e dico ACQUISTATO, senza censura...... SF2 per Vista, gira che è una meraviglia, l'unico problema, è che al momento sono disponibili pochi addons e/o aerei, problema che con il tempo, spero si risolverà!!!! :yes: 5) Ho seguito alle lettera le istruzioni ripetute 100 volte, e ripetute in varie lingue, senza risolvere il problema, forse perchè molti sono convinti che il problema siamo le DX, e ti ringrazio e mi complimento con te, perchè sei il primo che almeno ipotizza, che il problema, forse sia FX INTERACTIVE!!!!!! Scusami per la franchezza, e.........alla prossima!!!!! -

I have installed a new aircraft in SF2, for this example "G91R1" and "Skin_5 AB" for it. Well, I have put: 1) "G91R1" folder in C:\Users\<my username>\Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2\Objects\Aircraft 2) All the files of the Weapons folder into C:\Users\<my username>\Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2\Objects\Weapons 3) "Skin_5 AB" folder in C:\Users\<my username>\Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2\Objects\Aircraft\ G91R1 Now, when I start the game, the G91R1 aircraft, appears without decals and standards!! Where I was mistaken?? The problem is only for decals and insignia, all the rest works!! Thanks in advance!!! -

With SF2 you can create a decals folder (inside your objects folder) and just put them in there. Your decal.ini will then just need to point to the decal !!! If my decals.ini , is for example, this...
