  1. Any chance you will give a look into it this week-end, USAFMTL ? Thanks :)
  2. Because of the campaign bug? Thanks anyway, when you get a chance to look into it.
  3. USAFMTL, any luck this week-end ? :) streakeagle, your VA-176 skin is great .... thanks a lot!
  4. Strikeeagle, cool! I didn't know about your released modifications ... I also reverted to the A-4 'pit , the one that come with it is not too usable (yet) ... Wrench, your Spad looks good :) I really love that plane, you have such a feeling of "power" when flying it ... BTW, have any of you found of a way to hide the nose view from the 'pit, but keep the props? It's quiet hard to see anything when carrier landing ....
  5. Thanks USAFMTL, I'm looking forward to your new addition to our planes collection .. and to your review of the Spad ini files ;-)
  6. Has anyone done a silver skin for the EB-66? Will the silver skin of the RB-66 works on it?
  7. Very nice kapun ! ... A spad oriented set of screen will be pretty sweet <hint> ;-)
  8. Howdy, For my participation to Bunyap's "100 missions challenge", I would like to add some decals to the plane (probably a F-100) assigned to my pilot ... so I have been looking a bit on how to add some decals to a specific plane, taking example on how some of the fine skiners have done it :) I understand the basic notion of it : - put the TGA files in a subfolder of the skin, with the name that match the plane number on which the decals should go - add a corresponding section to the skin decals.ini What's fuzzy to me (at least right now) is what file name should I give to the decal ... In many example I have seen, if a decal is to be on the A-4 401 (for example), the file will be blahblah-001 .... However, in the case of the the F-100, the plane number (from the list text file) are 55-XXXXX .... so what format should the decals files be in? Also, how do you guys find out the correct position of a decals? Is it a trial-and-error process? Or can the position/scale be computed from the desired position by looking at the skin BMP files? Thanks in advance for any help.
  9. Alright, got it ... Thanks for the help USAFMTL
  10. more or less ... ? .... well I'll try that. Thanks for your help USAFMTL
  11. man ... that's BIG ... alright ....
  12. eh? ..... hmm .. so If I understand you correctly, the TGA should be named according to the line position of the serial number of the plane I want the decal to be on? For example, if the serial number 56-3380, is on the line 25 of the numbers.lst file, my decal should have for name : MyDecal025 ? Is that correct?
  13. well ... sort of ... .... so in the case of the F-100, with plane numbers going from 55-2790 to 56-3439 ... what will the file name for a decal to be applied just to the plane 56-3380 ? MyDecal380.tga ? MyDecal563380 ? Thanks for your help USAFMTL :fan_1:
  14. hmmm ... sorry if I sound stupid, but ..... hmm .. where is that members gallery?
  15. wow ... what's your guys secret to retouch the screenshot like that? Duce, dude! that F105D shot looks soooo good !!!!
  16. speaking of decals and model,, here's a nice 536rd TFS one http://www.modelwork.freeserve.co.uk/jim-r...el/Page-35.html
  17. Thanks .. you guys are doing a great work ... it had lots of value to the whole sim. experience
  18. oh .. I see ... well it's pretty cool. Where do you find the model decal sheets? In the box of the model you buy? ;-)
  19. speaking of creating skin ... how do you guys do it ? I mean, do you scan element of the skin from a book then retouch it and then insert them into the decal ini file or skin TGAs ?
  20. yeah .... mine too .... by that's a solution ... I will give it a try ... I wish there was an easier solution ...
  21. :( that's what I thought ... hmm ... do you think that creating a copy of a plane folder and renaming it F-105D-25-563 (for example), then assigning that plane to a given squadron could be a solution? The plane will be an exact copy of the F-105D-25 except for the pilot which will be one specific to the 563rd squadron ... Of course it's far from the best solution as it will duplicate all the files ... what do you guys think?
  22. Speaking of pilots ... is it possible to have the pilot skin changes according to the squadron? Each squadron had a certain helmet looks .... Thanks.
  23. aaaah yes .... The Wrench's web site ... great stuff! Thanks Badfrank!
