  1. MIG-21F LSK/NVA Camo

    Version

    189 downloads

Mig-21F LSK/NVA Camo When in the ’80 the older Mig-21F were retired from fighter units (JG-3; JG-8 and later JG-9) they served in AFS-31, TAFS-47, TAFS-48 as tactical recon planes and in JAG-15, FAG-15 for trainig. So the original silver skins were left and the aircrafts went camo. I made this skin (1024x1024) using my own, home made, templates, the decal numbers (included) are the same, historical of my previous LSK Silver Skin (a little below here at Combat.Ace). I hope you like it. I’ld thank my friend Herr Carlo “Souli” Vecchi for his constant help, effort and, as usual, for the original numbers fonts, too. Upgrade 1.1 At last I found probe, antennas etc. and now are silver painted. Numbers little shifted. New patch file. Numbers meet serials (copy new numbers file in LSK Silver Skin if you like ..). So try 645 for the “Q” mark. Yours. Paulopanz :dirol: P.S. To Install in SFP1/2; WOV/E/I simply put the decals in decals folder and LSKCamo1 in your Mig-21F folder. That’s all.
  2. WOE 1964

Hi sorry for calling (.... mostly lindr2). My project is on Mission/Campaign Building Forum. It is not politically but would be historically correct (I hope). In this transition year there was only for fun (...luckly ... my friends!) the WW III. In 1964 there were old jets and upcoming fighters togheter. I think it'll be fun and interesting. Fly them all (west and east) is the idea. So I put there a Soviet DDR OOB to check (I'm Italian, I know a little English but not Russian ...). Please take a look and tell me is something is wrong and I'll update. Glad to know something about Soviet AF in Poland and Czhech. I need you and is a pleasure for me, born and grew up with the iron curtain on, be able to freely meet you here. I love Migs, ........... I have to admit. Please answer. Ciao Paolo
  3. WOE 1964

Grazie per la risposta in italiano, complimenti. Proseguo in inglese, così ci possono capire tutti. The WOE 1964 campaign is a work in progress, so I haven't uploaded anything. No link yet, sorry. Please, if you can, check the data in the Polish, Czech and mostly Mission/Campaign. For example in Soviet OOB in Mission/Campaign, could you help me about which Mig-21 (F, PF, PFM) version use ? I would like to put togheter all possible informations. Ciao, a presto. Paolo
  4. Tk said on Tw own forum that I could freely add more squadrons on Soviet/Warsaw Pact bases usually with only 3 squadrons/staffeln maximum allowed (except BRAND airfield), so I have planned this Order of battle for Soviet AF in Germany: NORTH HQ Wittstock 16 Gw. 5. searching the lod finds no reference to pitot or tube or anything close, so I guess we're stuck with it! wrench kevin stein Abracadabra ............ the magical spell was "PROBE" Try this, please ... [AircraftData] ................... Component[018]=PROBE [PROBE] ParentComponentName=PROBE ModelNodeName=PROBE DestroyedNodeName=PROBE DetachWhenDestroyed=TRUE HasAeroCoefficients=FALSE ............ now your mod is a little closer to the real one. The probe was on the right outer wing on P and MP. Could you add it? What about the Mig-19P upgrade, too? Ciao Paolo
  6. Thank very much you Kevin. Just a couple of things: - The loadout.ini needs tank fix in a-a long range (only to renumber entries). - The pitot (?) in front of the nose could be deleted? I don't remember it in Mig-19PMs. More Migs, more fun. Paolo
  7. Thank you very much. Paolo
  8. 9. WOE 1964

Hi there, I'm building up an Historical WOE 1964 Campaign, including a flyable Czech side. I need your help with a list, an OOB, anything you have about your country AF or the Soviet ones in your bases. Polish brothers helped me, now is your turn! I have seen in your forum Vigilant's Campaign set, I PM him for further details about 1964 line up and Soviet AF, but had not answer yet. Please answer here or in the mission/campaign topic forum. Ciao a tutti. Paolo
  10. WOE 1964

I have your list ... Thank you very much. Paolo
  11. WOE 1964

Thank you for help. I'ld have another couple of questions for you: - which bases ? (I have added Colmar airfield ... which escadre?) - what about number of planes and squadrons org (1/3; 2/3 etc.) ? Merci (I'm sorry but I'don't speak French). Paolo
  12. Ansaldo SVA5

So beautiful and Italian, too ... Simply great. Now we need only a place to fly an Austrian-Italian campaign with your planes! Paolo
  13. Very interesting. Thank you. I opened a new topic in French forum for some help, too. I think to post a first OOB soon. Ciao Paolo
  14. This plane is a real beauty. You reach the top. The shadows now are perfect and the hook works well. The weapon bay and the rockets, too. Bravo Veltro!!! Paolo P.S. To see the plane far away, I changed F-102A.ini like this: [LOD001] Filename=F-102Ad.lod Distance=500 [LOD001] <--------------- [LOD002] Filename=F-102A.lod Distance=8000
  15. I have really to thank you, and especially our Polish and Czech friends, for all the kind support received. Several pieces of the puzzle now are set (the Polish OOB is really a maze .. ). Some fantastic new skins are done by Soulfreak (F-84F), Hgbn (Hunter, F-86D ..), 331Killerbee & pappychksix (F-102A) and some others are in the works .... I'm very happy of it. I have decided to put aside (waiting a better model) Mig-19PMs and I'm still thinking about Mig-17PFs ... I like Wrench's last upgrade of his and Pasko's mod, and the Fallout3 new plane, in Gepard version too, should need some nose upgrades .... but we can put the numbers on the nose and paint it in different colors ... I still need some French help for some Super Mysteres and Mirages squadrons. The same for Canadian OOB of 1964. This is an open mod, a work in progress to reach the best possible historical care. Let's make it togheter. Ciao Paolo
  16. Take a look here, too: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mozambican_War_of_Independence The F-84Gs (we have a brand new one for SPF2 now to skin) and then our G-91Rs from 1968 (yet skinned) are the stars of the indipendence war. We could fly only Portuguese AF, I think. ..... after we colud have Migs 17-15UTI against SAAF Mirage IIICZs, Canberras and maybe, tomorrow a Buc , but I don't now if desert map in the real world has the Sud African border ... Paolo
  17. for the Africa campaing Paolo choose the countris that you want and make a city list and base list for starteres(ops bad enghlis) then we can focus on a standy terrain and a campaing has a indepente mod and terrain. Cocas .... found. In Bunyap's "strike fighters .... editing info" at the bottom of pag. 34 " ... It is based on digital elevation maps from the USGS and is the actual terrain of Mozambique ... The bit of island on the north end of the map is actually the west coast of Madagascar .... "Mosak, Dhimar" is actually close to the present day Beira, Mozambique ..." So I think that some of our Portoguese or Mozambique friends could try to drive back the desert terrain to real world to gain a true african scenery for a Mozambique campaign. It is only an idea, but I liked share it with you. Paolo
  18. all who to join me in this project are welcomed Cocas Well, I like historical simulations most, but a good, old jets and guns clash is always welcome. If you need me for campaign testing or something else, I'm here. Paolo P.S. I read, don't remember where, that TW DESERT terrain = real Mozambique terrain .... So we could sail to an African campaign, too ..... There are some Migs, some Mirages and some Ginas, too, ready to take off .....
  19. Sea Venom? I have missed something? Where please? I have all the others (Ouragan is still very good with little updates for Woi !), but I never saw a Sea Venom. Please a link. Paolo
  20. I like your list, because, like you I think, I love old jets more then the modern ones! ... I'ld add only a Seavenom, very good for a Suez campaign, too, and should be a dream list. Paolo
  21. Hi Carlo, I saw your skins and read about the made in Germany Pit (...) in the works and I miss Marcfighters .... I'm sorry for that. But I think that we really need a good Alphajet. About the Magister it should be very usefull in Woe in GAF, French and Belgian colours. In 1967 (WOI) war it took action agaist arab forces, striking airfields. It's the only combat plane to add to OOBs. There'ld be some beautiful Finnish skins (with the boar head), too, for You to make .... and it's a very nice bird indeed. I don't know if someone is working on. I could serch some data for him. I have some very good FS9 freeware magister on my HD, too. They could be a start point? Maybe Veltro2K could take the job ..... :moil: Paolo
  22. My basic wish list? All usefull for complete historic Order of battle of ALL WOE campaigns: Buccaneer (WIP at GMG) Alphajet (WIP at GMG) CF-101 (WIP blackfly) Mig-17PF/PFU (new, good model please) Mig-19P/PM (new, good model please) Fouga Magister (good for WOI, too) I think it should be enough! Paolo
  23. Just downloaded and included in Woe 1964. Thanks Paolo
  24. After new Mig-17PF/PFU series upload what about Mig-19P/PM? I remember that someone was working on a full new version of that plane, but no recent news ... so an updated version of your mod should be very wellcome, I think. Thank you for your constant attention. Paolo P.S. the nose needs some reduction ..
