WOE 1964
paulopanz replied to paulopanz's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Mission/Campaign Building Discussion
If I remember well (I'll check it) that plane, I don't know why, has only one wing bitmap .. So I don't know if it'll fit well. Paolo -
WOE 1964
paulopanz replied to paulopanz's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Mission/Campaign Building Discussion
It'ld be great The last one Mig-17PF model, revamped by Gepard (for WoI), that I am adapting for Woe LSK etc. duty, I think is quite good. I'm thinking about it. It has a little decal problem on the top wings (the decals are reflected like a mirror on the wings' edges) but some AF (Who said Polish?) haven't decals on top wings .... I'm making the numbers, could you go for some basic skins? Sure we should need a better model ..... We'ld need a good Mig-19P/PM, too. Is it something in working in the German factories, or I'm wrong ? For later use in Woe historical campaigns we lack also a good brand new Alphajet (something on the horizon ?) and a Buc (In the german works now! I'm waiting ... ) and maybe a Magister (good for WoI, too, that has some very good free models in FS maybe to adapt, like RF-84F), a plane that I love quite like Migs and F-101/2/4/5/6s. This is my personal, basic wish list. Paolo -

I thank you for your kindness Brader. I have Yefim Gordon's Mig-21 Bible too, and I used it for the serials of my silver skin of Mig-21F of Polish Air Force posted here at Combat.Ace. But Your translations were very usefull for me. CHIACO in your own polish forum (take a look please) has posted a 1965 OOB on which I'm working on. I think I'm near to solve the Polish boder data finding. These are now the main problems: - we lack Polish bases (We have only Babimost and Kryzwan, because the others Chojna, Kolobrzeg and Kluczewo were manned by Soviets) - the Polish Regiments were very mixed units / this is difficult to solve in game terms So I'm thinking about that: which units include, which planes pick, in which air base. Any suggestion is welcome, specially from Polish people. Paolo -

Hi there, I'm not Polish, I'm Italian, sorry for the field invasion. I post here to call you for an help. I'm looking for a good Polish AF order of Battle for my WOE 1964 historical campaign in the works. I would like to put in the game a flyable historically accurate Polish faction, too. If have also a detailed soviet units list in Poland at the same time it'll be wonderfull. I'm waiting for your help!! Thank you all  Ciao Paolo

Thank you. I think so and now I can check it with some books about planes (Mig-17, 21 etc.). Do you have something about Russian AF in Poland in the same moment? Ciao Paolo

Go on Carlo ! This skin will be good for a later campaign in the '70s. Paolo P.S. I made Reds (or Arabs or Viets) flyable in ALL stock or not campaigns on my HD. It's quite easy ..... Yes, of course they will be all flyable: Soviets, East Germans, Polish and Czechs. -

Hi Hgbn !!! Your new bases are full of planes! Make more (I'ld have a wish list ....) The Vikings are in game and are all yours. I answer your question: No, I don't think so, but the pieces of the puzzle are all here at combat.ace. It'll easy, and funny to put all togheter. Paolo P.S. I'm waiting for Polish, Czech and French friends. -

MIG–21F-13 LSK/NVA Silver In 1962 the Mig-21F-13 began his service in JG-8. JG-3 was converted in 1964. Then the JG-9. Late many planes were in training unit JAG-15 at Rothenburg. East Germany Mig-21F were silver before they were assigned in late service to recon duty in TAFS-47 and 87 . Is there any Mig-21F’s templates to make the camo version, too? I’ld like to try if someone send me the templates. I made the serials using original Carlo “Soulfreak” Vecchi numbers, according with Yefim Gordon’s Mig-21 bible, so I think they are historically correct. Other stuff taken from Delta576 and adapted. Every known by me (and Yefim Gordon) “Q” excellence awarded plane has his badge (N. 641-645 / 21-23 to select in the game for take off). If You tell me more I’ll update the pack. More (all) LSK/NVA Mig-21 historical versions to come for better Woe campaigns. Paulopanz  To install: simply put decals in decals folder and LSKSilver1 folder in Mig-21F folder. That’s all. Picture and readme included. -
