    what about the less known Mig-21 SMT or Fishbed K?

     

    very few were built and used, but it has some special look I like

     

    very hard to get real pictures of it.

     

    It was the model with the large humpback, very big one, coming deeper down the fuselage

    and there are rumors about an updated one ....

    I guess you're making a whole MiG-21 series in detail??!!

    Dude, you da man! I love the 21!

     

     

    You know I like 21, too.

     

    Tk made for SF-2 quite the whole serie (F,FL,PF,PFM,PFV,S,M,MF,SM,bis,bisB). The transition from PF to PFM is the only (little) real gap to close.

     

    I have on my HD the PFS and the SPS (No GP) or early PFM with all "real" LSK numbers and "Q" marks done (see above).

     

    The SPS-K (kannone) could be easily done adding a removable GP-9 as explained in the forum.

     

    I'ld have a brand new Mig-21R with new ecm wingpods, too ....

    Abbiamo un 339A-MLU in cantiere. Abbi solo un po' di pazienza, stiamo lavorando su molte cose al momento ;-)

    il Vs. MB-339PAN ha celebrato al meglio la giornata del 50°.

     

    Mi è piaciuto un sacco, ma .... ora, l'appetito vien mangiando .....

     

    Ci possiamo aspettare un nuovo MB-339 portato allo stadard SF-2 come il PAN?

    Non avevo letto .... mi capita, scusatemi.

     

    Mi metto in pari e sottoscrivo in pieno quanto già detto da Mau.

     

    L'essenza della vita è lì ad un passo, da bambini è quasi scontata poi la perdi per ritrovarla - purtroppo - nei momenti peggiori.

     

    La verità è che depurati dalla nostra superbia non siamo niente, forse alla fine solo una sottospecie di polvere.

     

    Di solito questa consapevolezza l'acquisisce meglio chi la vita l'ha rischiata davvero in guerra, combattendo magari su un Cant Z-501 "mammaiuto", in una buca della steppa russa o del deserto libico, oppure contro un male nascosto come te ....

     

    Mi piace l'idea dell'uomo nuovo che rinasce come la fenice .....

    .... a dire il vero apprezzavo anche quello vecchio, figuriamoci la versione "M" !

     

    Forza "X" siamo con Te, l'estate - se Dio vole (n.d.t. toscano = vuole) - è passata.

    Hi guys,

    I've got a hunch that it'll happen sometime this motnh. There's been an increase in screnshots lately, perhaps it means TW are wrapping things up. On the other hand, with EXP1 I think it was 12-14 days between the last screenshot update and a release date. So IF recent facebook screenshots were last then MAYBE the release date is mid-September. But that's a lot of assumptions there ;)

    A breve arriverà anche il P-38 Cubano (giusto il tempo di rivedere qualche dettaglio) e la skin della Fuerza Aerea Dominicana. Per ora sono da considerare a data da destinarsi i Lightning della Cina Nazionalista...

     

    Programma davvero enciclopedico!

     

    Io però a questo punto penso che se anche il modello si difende ancora bene (ombre comprese), magari a questo punto si meriterebbe anche .... un'aggiustatina al data.ini (FM).

    They seem all 3 Mig-21FLs ....

     

    ... in fact the FL had the bigger tailfin of PFM and the cockipit of PM.

     

    Here some Y.Gordon's PFS and early PFM drawings

    Not found FL ones, but FL is VERY similar (if not identical in shape) to PFM.

     

    So I think You could work on SF-2 FL model editing the data.ini.

    The only issue is that for a camo skin You need a different plane with a different (painted) fake pilot (parachute) .....

     

     

    BTW I made a Mistake: the LSK (DDR) used a later, different type called Mig-21SPS like this (wip, too):

    I have been looking to see if anyone has made the MIG-21 PF(later) variant,,,, which looks the same as a mig 21 PFM, but with the hinged canopy. I have seen Egyptian Camo for this in the book Egyptian Mig19 and Mig21 units, here it is still refered to as a MIG-21 PFM. It has the GP9 gunpack in the centreline weapon rack.

     

    I have tried to make one myself,,, but I am simply not knowledgable enough to do this!!!!!!

     

    Can anyone help me?????? ,

    When Spillone104 and I worked on Type-77 SF-2 mod (a stock SF-2 Mig-21FL upgraded), he made for the SF-1 serie a parabrake (fake pilot style) to add to Mig-21PF. But the PF had a different tail more like PFM.

     

    That plane, that's always on my HD and is flagged as Mig-21PFS or Early Mig-21PFM (wip!) maybe is quite what are You looking for: (front) hinged canopy, GP9 gun pod and parachute.

     

    In use by DDR (mostly) and Egypt.

     

    If You are interested I think we could finish that mod.
