Hehehehe Widow, I'm afraid you have to search good then! Skyrim is really big and the dog a bit small and I won't spoil! :-)

I found her at my house at Whiterun after I bought it, at first she was always at the Jarrl's place. So I suppose she returns there. As for the dog, well, don't want to spoil it but ...... speaks! This game is really full of surprises guys, worth every penny!

So, what's the status CloD by now, is it playable?

Well, when I first saw the screenshots from FSX, I had the dream of the perfect simulator until I bought it and had to crash land. At the moment FSX is propably the best sim out there but only after years of modding, tweaking and hardware evolution. I wait MS Flight to take a similar path. I'd rather see X-Plane 10 or Cliffs of Dover as a possible Phase V platform.

I only found Lydia so far and I'm really happy with her. I've read that you can even marry her, don't know for me though, since I got a female character (and she looks even better than Lydia!). Got stuck with this goat look around at the moment, my vampirism and the fact I have no idea how to "tame a leather helmet" or something like this. Need to find some more cities I suppose and gain more experience, I really love this game! It's challenging, not boring, you see new things all the time and the ambient and atmosphere are overwhelming! And not to forget, I found a dog!

The companion can actually die, happened to me once. And now I'm a vampire too! And, there are no bugs! No broken quest so far and I'm more that 20 hours in Skyrim.

Peer pressure at it´s best! When a man has no personal opinion but has to conform to the group. Like a herd of cows.

I can confirm that there´s no drop at FPS on my system and I run it at ultrahigh. The only change I notice from time to time is how loud the fan of my graphic card goes, but I get no FPS drop. And I stop every 2-3 hours or so to let my system cool down a bit. The only "bug" until now, after 17 hours of playing, my companion got stuck in a cage, but as soon as I passed the next door, she was right behind me! I got to say, best RPG ever! 17 hours of wonderful gaming and I hardly touched the main storyline!!!

Hey Hellshade, do you buy armor and weapons for her?

Hey Hellshade, seems we're in a similar path. I left her (the companion) home and doing the quests alone. Does she dies when she helps you, do you need to take care of her too? I'm right now into a real hard dungeon and having a hard time, maybe she could help a bit. Raised the graphics to ultrahigh and the game flows like butter, no stutters, nothing. The only thing I'd like to see getting better are the textures. A high resolution pack for PC users would be great! And Hellshade, you are right, dragon fights are amazing!

I´ll have to agree with Hellshade, his review is spot on. The ambient is just wonderful, the UI is just right. There are hotkeys for mouse and keyboard players additionally to the Favorites system. One "bug" I found is the way deer swim into lakes, rather funny stuff! Already bought my first house and settle in. Just reached level 10 and the quests are wonderful, quite differentfrom each other and with a nice background.

I do! It´s better than I expected!!

Changed my Sream password yesterday, just when Steam announced the news, they sent me an email right away!

Got it on my harddrive at last, installed and ready to launch, maybe just one hour until unlock! I'm so excited guys!

Another hour maybe to fully download and then I have only to wait until the game unlocks. If not late tonight then first thing in the morning!!!

Downloading Skyrim as I write this from Steam for 49.99€, will unlock at about six hours from now so after all, maybe I don´t have any more time to sleep! But pizzas and colas are already in my fridge, beers too, as well as pringles, chokolates and other game survive food. Connection with Steam is rather slow at the moment but I got another six hours!!

Another two nights without Skyrim. I got to sleep well now because Friday night sleep will be luxury! :-)

Sorry to say this Bullethead but if you expect from a woman to " listen" then I understand your problem with marriage! :-). Women don't listen, they talk! And all things that can make a woman listen are already out of law. There comes the fantasy world. So you can go in there, get married, feel like real man for a while and then close your monitor and return to your normal listening event. Remembers me of a joke where two middle aged men talked to each other: Man A: I think I'm going to get a divorce, haven't spoken to my wife for two months now. Man B: Maybe you should think over it again, women like that are hard to find those days!

I would have it for 11.11€ alright! Hey Hellshade, one feature I really liked at Oblivion was the buying of all the houses and such, do you think something like it is implemented in Skyrim?
