  1. Well, a bit funny to tell someone "You are the next" when he´s at your six, bit higher and close enough!! I would use better the "I got wife and 3 kids" approach in this case!! ..... just kidding of course, nice skin indeed! Anastasios.
  2. Creaghorns Homebrew

I got to say, those sounds and new frame rate for the Spandau is absolute wonderful!!! Haven´t yet tried the News but I´m sure they´re going to be excellent! Anastasios.
  3. Creaghorns Homebrew

Thanks Creaghorn! Already downloaded, will try them out ASAP, I´m sure that it will be a whole new experience!! Anastasios.
  4. Amazing story!! Are you going to get this letter for yourself Olham??
  5. Hi Javito, my method is really simple, although try it only in an Alb D.II and that is crossing the lines as high as I can and then dive to the balloon, well, not vertically of course, not too steep. Just enough to gain speed, bust the thing away on a single pass and then gain height again trying to avoid MGs and flak. Can't remember a single time going wrong this way but I found out that sometimes enemy fighters secure the area, so try to keep an eye open before diving!!! Anastasios
  6. That´s a nice find indeed, so many legends among them! Thanks for sharing Olham! Anastasios.
  7. Hi everybody. I start here a new thread with screenshots, but ones that are greatly post processed. Although I´ve already posted one at the regulary screenshot thread, I believe that a new one is necessary so that new users won´t feel disappointed about the lookings of OFF. Although I don´t use merging and everything is ingame screenshots, they are processed a lot and altered highly to give a WWI feel. I had in mind the WWI artworks that one can find easily on the web. Please feel free to join this thread if you got any post processed screenshot, no matter how good or bad your skills are. I will try to give a steady feedback of screeshots at this thread and I hope you like what you see. I am going to post the first one here too, although already posted, just for the collection to be complete. Anastasios
  8. Top 5 aircraft for next OFF installment

I´d like to see an early French type, no matter which, just give some meaning to the early Jastas. And two heavies would be good, one for each side! Anastasios. P.S. Ohh not to forget a Siemens-Schukert of course!!!
  9. OFF screenshots

Very nice technique Dej, quite interesting results, I like it much!! Thanks RAF_Louvert! Just before I go to sleep, here´s another one! Anastasios.
  10. OFF screenshots

Thanks guys! Yes OvS, that blue one is my very first skin for OFF, made for easy recognition during my german campaigns, for me and my jasta mates. Don´t like the hue of the tail blue stripes, may I´ll correct them someday. The rest is just OFF and Photoshop! Anastasios.
  11. Thanks Ras, very kind of you. I´m thinking of starting a series of such "screenshots" , maybe in another thread, because of the heavy post processing. It´s not pure screenshot so maybe doesn´t belong here anyway. Anastasios.
  12. Hi everybody, finally managed to read the tutorial of Gous on how to skin for OFF and I thought I´ll give it a try. So here it is, my very first skin, quite blue, meant to be used for my german campaigns for me and my Jasta mates. It´s made so bright for easy recon during furball fights and it´s doing what is supposed to. Took the screenshot during my first mission with this skin and then "played" a bit with Photoshop, just to give a nice feeling. Any feedback is welcomed, Anastasios
  13. Alternative Shellmusic

It did worked indeed and have to admit it feels just great. I noticed though, that while starting a Quick Mission, the loading time was shorter and I had some of the sounds while ingame, doesn't bother me though since the overall feeling is fabulous! Many thanks Creaghorn, you are a genius! Anastasios
  14. May I join the club? Anastasios.
  15. Some Photos of theGreat War

Mostly interesting, thanks for sharing! Anastasios.
  16. OFF or RoF? Help the n00b!

Welcome aboard vyrago, you won´t regret it, only, be prepared, you are going to miss your friends! New guy buys the drinks!!! Anastasios
  17. OFF or RoF? Help the n00b!

If you're looking for something more than online dogfights then OFF is the way. Apart from that fact, the support is better than you can dream of and the community is the best I've ever seen. The level of dedication over here reaches the "Passion for Life" status. My advice, even if you get RoF, get OFF too! You won't regret it, that is more than sure!!! Anastasios
  18. Fine WW1 aviation art

That´s my current wallpaper, also taken from the Virtual Aviation site and a bit "processed". Anastasios
  19. Alternative Shellmusic

Thanks Creaghorn! Can't wait to get home and start converting, installing, playing! I start only German campaign and these files are just right for me, many thanks once again! Anastasios
  20. Retreating

Wow, BH that's quite a tactical retreat, great help indeed! When I have to retreat and feels bad, I think of retreat actually being the first step to revenge, makes this pill easier to swallow for me. Anastasios
  21. Retreating

My best pilot yet was also known as the "white feathered Erich"! Made quite a carrier running! Anastasios
  22. Alternative Shellmusic

Hey Creaghorn, many many thanks for these wonderful alternative shell sounds, they are really fantastic! I got a little question regarding the mp3 to wav conversion, how should be done? I mean, do I need a special programm or something? Thanks in advance, Anastasios.
  23. Some work in progress albs

Wow, more Albs!!! Now that´s good news indeed!! My fav is Brockhoff´s, amazing livery!! Thanks for that!! Anastasios.
  24. A couple of Alb's for ya

They look just great, thanks for uploading. Could you maybe post a short overview on how you make these skins? I know there´s a guide at the download section but my computer just can´t read it. Only the very basic, I´ve done some skinning before for IL-2 and FSX but it´s long time now and I don´t think I remember much. Thanks in advance, Anastasios.
  25. Hello friends! Looking at Siggi´s wonderful Spitfire thread and work I thought maybe I would also post a photo of my latest modeling work after years, two or so I think. Quit modeling for a while because of FSX, yes, I was to busy learning and flying all the time, so all my projects were put on ice. But, getting to know OFF, urged me to make a small collection of 1/72 Revell WWI aircrafts, at first, just to get to distinguish the types. After a while though, I got to love the brush and paintwork again and finally finished that old bust that was waiting on my desktop for more than two years! It´s a Young Miniatures Bust at 1/10, an SS soldier taking part at the Ardennes offensive. A beautiful resin cast with lots of details. I´m no fan of camouflaged clothing painting and here I did really the best I could. The bust is painted mostly with oils, but also acrylics and pastels. Photos always tend to destroy the feeling and that´s no exception. Finally got just one descent one, with 1,3" exposure at f10 and ISO400, that´s why there´s some noise at the shadows. That´s all guys, please let me know what you think and of course any feedback is welcomed, I think I´m going to visit Ingolstadt for the "Herzog von Bayern" competition with this figure this year, so any comments are mostly welcomed!!!! Thanks! Anastasios.
