I am also surpised with the ai of these sims. On one occasion i was in a rolling fight with a mig 19, we kept rolling around eachother both hoping to gain the upper hand. I got lucky and managed to get on his tail for two seconds, that was all i needed. The mig 17s outturn me every time and they are damn good at it too, whenever i close in for a kill they break and turn hard and i really struggle to keep up, on average it takes me 5 - 10 minutes to get a shot in and i always miss with missiles. I have also flown a total of three mig 21s into the ground, looks as if they freak out after a few minutes of having me behind them and completely loose their situational awareness.

The worst thing is when i fly mp missions against my son and he orders his wingman to hunt me, all of a sudden i got two bogeys locked on my tail. It becomes a desperate fight for survival, really gets the pump going:)

Are the kill markings supposed to show up in mp too or should i stop looking for them?

Of course, as MP won't work for Vista and Win 7

I play FE1 with my son on Multiplayer every day, we are both on Vista. I'm using Ultimate x64 and he's on Premium x64. In fact the only version 2 game i bought is SF2-Israel, i like the older titles better because they support multiplayer.

Started happening today, no mods installed.

Works for me in Vista x64 Ultimate.

Does anyone know if any add on cockpit for the wonderful TMF F-5's exist? And if so, where can it be found?

I'd like to add my name to the list of thankful users of Nato Fighters. I recently installed all four parts in WOE and it is truly amazing! The lack of mp in SFWOE2 has put me off for now but when i get it the Nato Fighters 2 package will be the first thing i install. Thank you for bringing us this wonderful add on.

I am getting closer to the solution, the author had written "attachment type=NORWAY" in the pylon entries of the DATA.ini. I changed this to USAF, NATO and it seems to be working.

What is wierd is that even tough i reinstalled the plane it still just shows drop tanks in the ordnance section.

I managed to add the drop tanks to the F-5 ANOR and everything was working fine, then i downloaded and added the add on chaff and flare pods to it. All of a sudden all i can load is chaffs/flares and fuel. No other weapons. so i went back and started fresh, uninstalled the F5 Anor. But still all i have are drop tanks(deleted the chaff/flare dispensers).

What did i do?

1- i found this entry in the decals ini file:FilenameFormat=F-5A/NorwegianSilver1/D/ But i can't find the file norwegiansilver1 anywhere.

2- I need to add drop tanks to the F-5

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hello, my name is Paul and i am a new user of thirdwire sims.

I have been simming for 25 years and started out on the c64 and amiga with titles like wings and ace og aces etc.

Here's my recent sim history:

-fs2004, currently flying.

-FSX, never could get myself to like it.

-Lock On, like it but don't have the time to spend on it.

-DCS BS, same as above.

-Falcon 4 AF, same as above.

-X-Plane,currently flying.

-IL2, love it.

-FEG, Currently flying.

-ROF, like it but cannot "get the feel" of WW1 with it.

-WOE, currently flying.

-WOI, currently flying.

-Aces High, might reconsider when WW1 is out.

-SF2 Israel, currently flying.

-EAW, love it.

I think that's about it. Only thing i miss with 3wire sims is "real" multiplayer support. Great sims for us that don't have 24 hours a day availale for simming.
