After reading about some of the disparities concerning the conduct of John Sutton as well as the role of the Mexican Consular in pushing for penalties against American citizens I would've expected a full pardon. I take oaths seriously too, especially the one to defend the Constitution from all enemies, both foreign and domestic. If you've read or heard more about this grave injustice then what you've heard on the TV or radio you'd also be of a different opinion. The falsification and suppression of evidence in a criminal investigation that bothered me the most was done by John Sutton. Which was verified by some of the jurists after their verdict. Or is the old political double standard being applied here? For these reasons I support a full pardon.

I'll show this video to my sister, mother and every female I come across. Thanks! I don't have the statistics that show the disparity between the average number of hours males drive compared to women. What is the ratio between men and women that drive long haul and short haul delivery vehicles? What is the ratio of men to women driving sales routes to potential customers? The answer is probably mostly male which has been my experiance. But because the total number of drivers is just a few more males to females we are led to believe that females have superior driving skills? Not until some more parameters are settled will I believe that for one stinking minute. I only know that overall men have a higher exposure to the risk of traffic injuries and fatalities then do women. That isn't a myth either...

May these two heros live in peace with their families for the rest of their lives. Yet I still can see the apathy of many concerning some of the facts of this ongoing politically motivated persecution of Border Patrol Agents whose actions were within the law. That a call for a congressional investigation into the prosecutorial misconduct by a Federally appointed stooge by the name of Johnny Sutton won't see the light of day should be the big news, but isn't. I watched little John Boy try to defend his malfeasance towards these two heros and he exposed his weaselly nature instantly. I'm sure his masters rewarded him well.

X52 Pro has rudder twist. Didn't like it at first but it's second nature now. I still would've prefered the rocker paddles under the throttle like on the X45 and X36 but then again you can't have it all, can you?
-
Longer life due to the hall sensors for both while the X52 Pro has extra hall sensor for smoother X+Y contol.
-
All of my previous HOTAS joysticks had the same problem of malfunctioning potentiometers on the X and Y axis. Potentiometers are the mechanical devices that send the electrical signal of where your joystick is on its X and Y axis. Eventually they'll get dirty and you'll start getting the herky jerky signal until it's unusable. The hall sensor does away with that by sensing a small magnets position without making contact with it. Therefore no interupted signals due to small specks of dust on a mechanical contact like on a potentiometer. Smoother movements are the result for a longer period of usage. I'm hoping this will last a bit longer with the hall sensors then with the old pots.
-
The only reason why I got the X52 Pro was because it uses magnetic hall sensors which it refers to as non-contact technology. The X52 Pro uses twice the number of these hall sensors that the regular X52 uses. The only minus is the lack of tension provided by the week spring on the joystick. There are easy remedies to fix that though.

Can the AI wingmen "bobbing" be reduced?
Roopod replied to MetalMania's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
That is irritating. Like some bizarre PIO effect going on there. I saw a fix for it some time ago with changing an entry in an .ini but can't find it now. May have been after extracting a .cat file. Somebody knows. It isn't like riding turbulent air either since it the same old up and down and up and down motion repeating over and over and over again. I didn't find amusing either. Some models have it worse then others it seems. -
Watched this a few days ago. -Youtube-Video- I don't know why, but it just reminded me of it again.

White "Terrain" patches...help please
Roopod replied to swambast's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
I changed the HasWater=0 value in the texture001 to texture104 in the VIETNAMSEA_data.INI for all of the inland textures. It also seemed to solve the problem of 500lb. bombs disappearing in those rice paddies without exploding too. -
I still am playing with my copy of WARGASM I got in 1998. I listen to my music and blast away! It's the KISS rule of keep it short and simple but I can still get my jollies from it. Someday I'll save up some duckets and buy Steel Beasts Pro Personal Edition for $125. I used to play with the armor in Red Orchestra until my computer crashed. When I tried to reinstall it I wasn't allowed to retrieve my password through my e-mail account. So now it's dead to me.

Overlapping Objects

I started getting this too after applying the latest updates. Mostly with add-on terrains. -
I play IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 for all of my WWII air combat needs. Although I'll play the latest updated Strike Fighters Project 1 to fly the He-219A-7 over snowy terrain to shoot down some Lancasters, Halifaxes, ...etc. I don't plan on getting BOB2 any time soon since the twenty some maps available with IL2:1946 keep me quite content for now.

Next time you stop at the scene of an accident, consider this
Roopod replied to mustang60348's topic in The Pub
Beverly Hills lawyer pleased with the ruling. Doesn't that say it all. Liability still to be determined though. Says it was her friend too. Maybe that should be changed to a former acquaintance. Then again, I even know not to move an accident victim unless it is to save them from further injury or imminent death. That's from being over four decades old though too. -
Vietnam terrain?
Roopod replied to scouserlad13's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
Anybody try Razbam's Wings Over Vietnam Terrain addon for $15.00? -Visit Razbam's Website- Then there's Yankee Air Pirates website: --HERE-- As just some possibilities. -
I think I've heard this argument about more than a dozen times so far. The Sturmovik, Tempest, Thunderbolt and Skyraider all better suited aircraft for ground inderdiction role not because of the absence of ground defences, but because of their survivability from it. Some units in WWII even went from Thunderbolts to Mustangs back to Thunderbolts because of the survivability of the Thunderbolt when compared to a Mustang. Yet here is the comparison of two types of aircraft like the Hornet (bug) and the Hog. One designed as a dedicated ground pounder while the other trying for the multi-role capability. One designed to operate from secondary runways while the other strictly from primary fields. I'm sure the boys in blue at the Pentagon will someday proclaim the death of the Hog the same way when they removed guns from their aircraft back in the late 50's and early 60's. Personally though, I'll stay in Hog heaven for now. Or Il-2, P-47, A-1 for that matter too in the virtual world of course.

This is why we stay home on black friday, as well as all places where mobs congregate for despicable purposes such as sales at such retail giants. It's also why I don't buy from that chain of stores. The sign that read "Blitz line" showed that the actions resulting in death and injuries were premeditated along with the conditioning by the national media for the expectation of the bizarre animal type behavior being exploited as consumerism. The type of exploitation I've seen done leading up to riots in cities over the last few decades too. This type of mob mentality has been seen across the globe in other countries as well so I wonder how some seem to only associate it with the U.S. or black friday. One final thought to the 2nd Ammendment bashing that I like to bring up is how grateful I am to my ancestors for moving to the United States of America so long ago. I'm also grateful that I am free to defend my life as well as my families with a firearm that so many other countries forbid their own citizens to do. The millions of incidents where lives were saved by law-abiding citizens goes mostly unrecorded in the official national record for mostly politically correct reasons, unfortunatly. "Before a standing army can rule, the people must be disarmed; as they are in almost every kingdom of Europe." Noah Webster, 1787 "The Constitution preserves the advantage of being armed which Americans possess over the people of almost every other nation... (where) the governments are afraid to trust the people with arms." James Madison (4th U.S. President)

Earthquake clouds? I can understand that enough atmospheric pressure can touch off a hair trigger tectonic plate movement. The amount of water in large clouds can be impressive. Tornados and sheering winds just some examples. These changing pressures on the earth's surface can be seen everywhere as well as wave action. The relationship with earthquakes is a new one to me though. Thanks for the new perspective to ponder on. Sort of like a huge ekranoplane, right?

A group of Marines were standing in the pre-morning dark in PT gear on a little archipelago in the Indian Ocean called Diego Garcia when a flash of light lit the sky above our heads like a huge flash bulb lasting almost a whole second. I looked up to see a short luminescent streak directly above us where the meteor had burnt itself up. Leaving me with a strange feeling afterward that I still remember like it was yesterday. It happened twenty plus years ago. I would postulate that there are many Tunguska like events as well as geological ones that happen over bodies of water which cover over three quarters of the Earth's surface. That these may have resulted in some of the freak waves that sometime hit and sink seafaring craft. Meteor over Denver:

A weather front moving in. Low pressure to high pressure. Warmer air to cooler air maybe from the sun setting or rising. Look on your local doppler radar... if you have it. It may look straight from your perspective but may extend for 20 to 100 miles in either direction. The only signal of concern to you might be a change in the type of clothing to keep you warm or dry.
