  1. Hey, Jonathan, we got a Johan; kinda, anyway.
  2. Darth, this ain't perfect, but you got pylons; these are pylons from a Horten 229A, Fast Cargo did the original. This is the Fake Pilot method which I hadn't bothered to learn 'til now; so before you thank me, thank you. Drop the Fake Pilot and Pylon folders into the games Pilot Folder, replace the J-35J's Data file with this one, and go fly! If any of you skinnin' guys out there could adjust the color of these pylons, they'd actually look pretty good. Almost forgot, Darth if you're missing the Draken sounds(I was), drop this Sounds folder into the games Sounds folder. Hope this helps you out. Jeez, forget something else, tanks and stuff; got it on good authority those green ones are just practice rounds; so what if the Falcons say USAF on 'em, meh.
  3. Not a Job I would relish!

Least he's close to home though, (and the neighborhood watering hole), that's a Queens accent if I ever heard one!
  4. Homefries, I grew up on Lawn Guyland in the 60's and 70's, had family that worked at The Ironworks on both Cat's and 'Truders, so both aircraft are kinda special for me, Ive got the Razbaam pits installed ( A-6B pit for A-6E [ pre TRAM ] is excellent idea ). Just sunk the Kiev ( twice ), 1 A-6E TRAM lost, man I feel sorry for those Corsair drivers.
  5. I may get hated' on for this but... I think I got it right! Homefries, this is,...um I don't know, awsome is overused, great, fantastic,...stupendous? Beautiful. Even though I just said to someone the other day, I didn't see the point of JSGME in SF2, in this case ( I am removing foot from mouth ), it seems key to a trouble-free install. Dave and Crazyhorse, try it with with the mod enabler ( use the force,ha,ha ), really, this is to good to be without.
  6. CarrierParkSpan=7.20 CarrierParkAnimationID=7 Hope this is what you needed.
  7. 7Zip is easiest/best. Right click on the Zipped folder, and left click Extract to...(name of mod), everything is in perfect folder setup, and it's free.
  8. Find Robert Shaws Fighter Combat: Tactics and Maneuvering, ( Amazon has it; if you look hard enough you can find a free PDF. download. ) Real world stuff, but as Streakeagle posted in a different thread ( over at ThirdWire ), the only people who call SF2 a lite sim are people who've never played it. Fighter Combat has plenty ( enough to make your head spin ) of stuff on both of the things you mentioned and LOTS more, and, much of it is applicable to SF2.
  9. WOW, can't wait to add the Razbaam pits to these!!!
  10. Holy cow...check this out Gamers!

I wonder if it could be used in place of Track IR?
  11. Drop a copy of Radar_AimDot.tga into the HUD folder in the cockpit, and in the ini., change the TextureName to cockpit\HUD\RadarAimdot.tga. See if that works.
  12. Listen up!! This may be unwanted advice, but: If you like WOE, and your machine is not ancient, (1) Go to Thirdwire.com, (2) Click on store, (3) Cough up the thirty bucks and buy StrikeFighters2 Europe. You will: not be disapointed, and, you will never look back.
  13. My Pound Puppy is gone

    :salute:
  14. Ian, you can enable any screen as a TV screen, the only problem is you'll lose the map. Once you set UseRadarTexture=FALSE, the TV is the only thing that will show up on whatever screen you enable as a TV screen.
  15. I don't think it's the March hotfix, I d'loaded all the April installers and re-installed and have no control issues. However, Streakeagle has a post over at ThirdWire somewhere; in it he said he suddenly developed problems with a Saitek keyboard he'd used for years, due to a patch. If you have another keyboard available, try it. Again the March hotfix is no longer available because it's incorporated in the April patch/installers.
  16. I extracted the ini. files for the stock EA-6B, in the Data file, PrimaryRoles=ESCORT_JAMMER, in the Loadout file the only Loadout is SEAD, two AGM-45A's. Hope that's helpful.
  17. Extract Weapons Data ini. from ObjectDataCat1.
  18. Holy Frak!

    Happy Birthday, Dave!
  19. not forgotten

  20. Stratos, check for this entry in the dataini., SpecificStationCode=AA7, if it is there, comment it out thusly; //SpecificStationCode=AA7. You should now show( and be able to mount), any SAHM that fits as per Kodiaks post above. If this is the case, you'll need to find out why; if you have no AA-7's, well there you go. The AA-7 is aka R-23 Apex, and may be in your weapons folder as that. The reason this important is, IINM, MiG-23's ONLY carried R-23 SAHM's. There is a Hi-Def Russian Missles Pack in the SF2 downloads section that has them as AA-7's, or you can rename R-23's ( in both ini's ), then un-comment SpecificStationCode=AA-7. Hopefully, everything will now work correctly. Hope this helps.
  21. Luck or no luck, Snapper's trick worked for me.
  22. dsawan, this is a little late,(see you've got it sorted out), but the problem you had is NOT due to Vista. I've got Vista HP 64-bit and just got around to installing the updated Buffs Megapack(hence the delay). Went perfectly, took about 2 mins.Generaly the progress bar turns red just before the little window comes up asking, "do you want to merge this folder, etc. If that window does'nt come up you cannot proceed. Don't know if this would affect this particular problem but, if you have'nt done so already, turn off User Account Control(UAC). It's ALOT more user-friendly, just like XP but 10X better looking. I know Vista's gotten a lot of bad press, but most of it was due to this.(Messages saying "you're not allowed, not authorized, etc.) 7 is just Vista with a spitshine, don't waste money you'll need for SF2:NA, . And for Dave , another BEAUTIFUL job, if you see a prolonged , bright flash outside the window, just get under the bed before the shock wave hits. Thaaank you.
  23. Hey Sid, to be honest, I didn't know you could use this for TextureSet.INI's, but I do know that in Loadout.INI's it's StartDefaultDate, in that order. I had it reversed once and, obviously, it don't work that way. In some of Wrench's recent Loadout.INI's he sets it up thusly: Nation=xxx StartDefaultDate=xxxx DefaultFor=xxx Nation is obvious, Date(in this case), is too, and DefaultFor (in Loadout.INI) would be one of the standard loadout callouts. Hope this is helpful.
