I've been a member and have downloaded stuff for years on Combat Ace. But the past several times I've been here, I can't download anything from the file library. No matter what I click on, I get the message, "Sorry, we can't find that!" Any suggestions? Thanks!

Yeah, you probably won't ever hear it again. It's a quirk unique to my ISP. It messes with me on Mediafire, too, so I have to shut it off to download from there as well. This ISP seems to be the only one that uses this odd form of web acceleration. If anyone else has the problem, they're probably using the same ISP.

I solved it. It didn't have anything to do with links. Something in this site's security protocols does not like my ISP's web acceleration function. As soon as I temporarily disable web acceleration, all is well.

Aside from the very expensive 3D Studio Max, what programs do you use to create add-on aircraft? Is it possible to use the Third Wire Export Plug-in in anything besides 3DS Max to export the necessary LOD files? I've got GMAX, and I've done some modeling for the MS flight sims a long time ago, but I'm much more into TW's SF2 series these days and might like to create some freeware aircraft to upload to CombatAce if I can do it without spending enough for a new Martin guitar for the software. Seems to be compatible with Windows 7 64-bit according to the site. I guess I can risk $2.99. I spent many hours flying this one. Very detailed. Rick
