Bah, don't buy computer stuff locally. newegg.com, you can't do better. And just out of curiosity, which card is better, the X800 Pro or the 6800GT? If I remember correctly, the Pro has faster core speed, 475 Mhz, as opposed to 350, but the GT has faster memory, 1 Gb as opposed to 900 MHz. I havnt' been able to find any direct comparisons yet, but I would think that the faster core would outway the faster RAM? That and I think the Pro would be easier to OC. Am I right?

Even if its payware, I might find myself tempted to buy this one... Check that, I just did a search, it seems to be an addon for FS2004, created by Shockwave Productions. SWEEEEEETTT!!! Release date is 9-13 :D Man, I gotta get some money... must... buy... new.. computer...

I'd like to get a 1911 someday, a nice stainless with a wood stock. I don't think there's a better looking pistol then the rugged, sturdy, yet beautiful look of the 1911. I don't really know all the little differences in the different brands, years made, models, etc, but I'd like one, either original or not, like the ones made during WWII. But that's still a few years off.

I don't know if any of you have downloaded any of his aircraft, but Mike stone has many great (looking) aircraft. I only have one of his (at the moment, that won't last long), his C-130. But I'm looking at pictures of his planes, they're beauties. pmstone.com

I think I'm going to wait for Brothers in Arms :D I've played MOHAA for about a year, and as fun as it was, I was beginning to get bored with it. Even though this is a different game, I'm afraid that playing it will get old a lot faster than if I hadn't played MOHAA.

when it comes right down to it, we're comparing rocks to stones here. Any Athlon64 processor you buy will kick butt. period. Either socket type will make a great upgrade. As of right now, neither board supports DDR2 Ram, or PCIE. So the real question is not so much which one will give the best performace, but rather, do you want to spend the extra money now for a few more years use out of the motherboard, thus making it better in the long run. If you say yes, get a socket 939. If you say no, get socket 754.

Ahh, good time to ask, I just did a lot of research on this. Fates is right, If you want to upgrade, go for the Socket 939. MSI K8T Neo2 Platinum ($154 from newegg.com) is probably the best MB out there for this socket. The 3500+ you can get for $427. With those two, you'll probably be set for at least 2 or 3 years. I can get you more info if you want.

Hey Foo, I don't know about the other guys, but I'm glad you are at least a little vocal about your views. Personally, Bush annoys me, but I like Kerry and his views even less. When you post, to me, its a welcome different view. Sometimes all the Bush praising can get old :D

The DII Powerhouse UND (University of North Dakota, where I am now at), currently #2, defeated #10 Delta State, and is well on their way to another national championship! K-State starts up next week playing Western Kentucky... Western who? oh yeah, gotta wait till October before they play a recognizable team. Oh well, time for some butt stomping!
