that LOMAC one is kinda cool, but I would prefer the clock decal. maybe you could put both up?

What are you reading this for??? Go have fun with your wife!!! Have a good one MJ!

Ok, I tried with the firewalls on/off, no difference. Like I said, I don't think its the firewalls, or anything in the security center, but something else.
-
True, neither do I. And I'm not saying that it's the firewall creating such a drop, but something else in SP2, more likely. I called MS support, they said that they need more information about the network before they can do anything, and I have yet to hear from the IT guys here. I'll run those tests when the testing site gets back online

Washington Journal... heheh.... :D
-
Alright, I'll do that. It's just I've got an addon for messenger, I didn't want to have to reinstall and reconfigure that too.
-
I dunno about that, but I'll check with another guy on on the same network who hasn't installed SP2 yet, see what he gets. EDIT: Well, we just tried it with the computer in the next room, that guy is getting 5.5+ Mb/sec while I'm getting 40-100 kb/sec on the same test. Before I installed SP2, I was getting the same results as him.

Seen it before, but its still a good read.

And yet another thing... Windows is now trying to install stuff without asking me, ie MSN Messenger 6.2 and WMP 9. I have automatic updates turned off, and I already have WMP 9. what the heck?
-
ACK!!! ok, I'm not so worrried about my firewall now. Before I installed SP2, my connection was running at 5+ Mb/sec. Now it's struggling to get 100 Kb/sec. wtf???
-
I've got another question... I just downloaded and installed SP2. It seem that the Windows firewall is turned off everytime I boot up my system, because ZoneAlarm is running. If I go into the menu, I can turn it on, but I'd rather it be that way at startup, then having to keep putting starting it up. Or is having two firewalls necessary?

haha! Man, that would've sucked being that pilot though...

I think you guys are thinking too much about the fanatics of christianity. The vast majority of christians, 99.9% of em aren't like that. Every christian that I've met pretty much agrees with me that God touches people in different ways, and they all respect that. We are not pushy, we let God work in your life, and offer any help and fellowship that we can.
-
Well, you might do that finiteless, but you do touch on a good point. Not all "christians" are good. However, the vast majority of American christians, bible belt or not, are great people. Nick, I can garuntee (I know its spelled wrong :P) you that a bad childhood and a lack of self esteem is NOT the reason Christianity is so stong in America. It's hard to explain and understand, unless you are in fact religious. People are religious because God has touched them in some way. It comes in different forms-- someone may have grown up in a religious family, and it just develops as they grow. Sometimes a devout aethiest can turn faithful by just one act. Everyone has their own reasons and their own was to express their religious beleifs. Its the same anywhere in the world, every is just different.

Those are good :D

Well, I was just about to get around to buying a mousepad, but it seems they have disappeared again. Fates, did you ever get that design that's on the clock onto the mousepad?
-
Got a question. Which would be better, to get the Multi-machine network SP2 or wait for the smaller single computer SP2?
-
sorry, I forgot to add the "but at least you showed her whos superior ;)"

My Grandmother lives in Tampa Bay, luckily she was in New Jersey during the hurricane, I guess nothing of hers is damaged, thank goodness. Oh, and I have to add... Snapple's back! 8)
