I like the sound of the idea, I think it would be neat. As some people are saying, it may look bad to some, but realistic to others. Instead of just an on/off switch, could it be possible to put in a slider for that? 0% would be no correction, 100% would be the highest amount of correction. That way, people can set the amount to what they believe to be most realistic. And what about natural head movement, like LOMAC? That adds a lot, especially if modelled right. If these two could be used together, you could have one hell of a naturally moving view.

Fates, I don't know much about HDTV or anything, but for speakers, you can't get much better than Klipsch. www.klipsch.com For home theaters, look at their Reference series. I've seen them in a couple stores (Nebraska Furniture Mart, I believe), and they sound awesome, and they look cool too, if you take off the grills. You might also want to look at a Microsoft Media OS computer. Those are supposed to be good for home theaters too...

tis true, tis true... My brother recently went to India. Here, people think he's skinny. But he fit right in in India. I'm not sure bought the height thing, most girls are taller than me (I'm 5'10"ish, I havn't measured in a long time :) ) But then again, you may have just seen a bad bunch, there's plenty of attractive girls around here :D.

Wow... This game is going to be INTENSE. I just read the interview, and that part about the cow was amazing. I don't think this will be a game you'll do just for fun. Heck, it might even turn away potential buyers for being TOO gory. but I'm gald someone is finally not giving any leeway to reality, it should show us what WWII was really like, and the sacrifice that was made for just living during this period.

Well, I can now play the game. I've had to set everything as low as possible, but I can get 20+ fps most of the time on my 866 MHz PIII, 32 Mb GeForce 2 MX, and 512 Mb PC133 RAM system. The only odd thing I've seen with my limited time with the sim is some transparent mavericks. Other than that, it's cool!

Well, cross country flights used to be more fun in MP. But with MS2K4's ATC, it doesn't seem as lonely in the sky anymore in SP. But as soon as they implement ATC into multiplayer, then MP will reign supreme :)

did you try installing the Saitek software first? You need to do that, and don't plug in the conroller till it tells you. Once you get it working, try the profile I've added to this post. I don't have a document that tells the keys, so I'll just tell you here. Trigger - brake A-flaps up B- flaps down C- pause launch - gear Hat 1 - view slew Hat 2: - up - zoom in - down - zoom out - left - switch views - right - toggle cokcpit there might be a few more command on the stick but I can't think of them at the moment :) I just use the mouse for everything else.

You're right Fates, its not that hard to do that with full ATC control, radar, transponders and the like. But I guess one out of the million, billions of flights made every year in the US, one little upset isn't too bad :)

FS2004 has a fully clickable cockpit, so if you 1. are willing to use the clickable cockpit 2. have a joystick with a throttle The only keys you really need to know are these: g- toggle gear F6 / F7 - flaps up / down p - pause s - switch views w - toggle cockpit . - brakes ~ - ATC window (single player)

I'm trying to connect to it via my new laptop, and it doesn't see the server at all. First FSHostSpy didn't copy the ip, and then when I copy/pasted it, it didn't recognize it. I'm looking at ip 24.18.114.115. Is that right? I seem to be having the same troubles on my pc. I know the server is running; there's two people flying at the moment. Any suggestions? EDIT: Ok, problem fixed, it was my firewall. Does anyone know of a way I could fly, but not have to shut down my firewall?

I used to have arthitis, but thank God its disappeared. At least arthitis isn't life threatening (in a good house like yours). But it does cause lots of pain. Sorry to hear that chief.

I just saw an commercial on the History Channel for a show on tonight. It's about the F-14, tonight at 9 Eastern. The commercial made it look good, and usually History Channel shows are. Just thought I'd inform everyone.

Well, I just did some single player. I'm sorry to say, but LOMAC still just doesn't run well on my system. I get 20+ fps over the water (flyable enough), but when I get in sight of an airfeild, my fps drops to below 2. :( I'll hop online just to give it a chance, but I don't think that'll be any better.

Do you ever have that problem where you have too many games to play? For example, I want to fly LOMAC, but since I have no military aviation background, I've got a frustrating learning curve to push through first. I also want to do some online FS2004, cause I havn't done a long flight online in forever. But then again, I want to go play some Medal of honor, cause I'm good at it and always have fun when I play, but I play it a lot as is. So which do I do?

I should be able to make it, but I really have no experience on the sim. maybe I should do some preflying this afternoon.
