lol, I tried that too, got the same thing. But what was really weird, I tried a gear up landing in the 737 at LaGaurdia. It did the whole sparks flying thing, and I came to a stop. Then things went weird. I started to accelerate. backwards. I didn't have any reverse thrust, i was at idle. yet here is my plane accelerating backwards. weird. Anyways, I put down the gear and used the brakes to stop somewhere off one of the taxyways. What a weird landing.

Based on my observation on the FS2004 forum, I'd really like to get a new video card... Can I please get some reviews, likes and dislikes, and anything else with the above cards?

Ha... 11 fps. With the settings where I want them, I generally get about 6-8 fps. If i turn stuff down any more than it is, I start to lose a lot of graphics/ effects that I'd like without getting a comperable increase in fps.

So you move your head to make the screen move... wouldn't that be annoying, having to turn your head away from the screen, and have to move your eyes off center? Humans naturally move their head to the way their eyes are pointing (as opposed to simply moving the eyes in the socket, without moving the head), so this would tend to put you in an unnatural position, am I correct?

Naw, I don't think the Cheifs will go all the way either. Hopefully, they'll do a lot better this year than they have been (like the Royals did) though.

Correct, positive Gs are where everything in the body weighs more, and, once enough g's are attained, blood becomes too heavy for the heart to pump well, and all the blood goes to your legs, causing a black-out. This is why G suits are important, the add pressure to your lower body so that the blood can't go there. Negative gs are the exact opposite, the blood goes up instead of down, causing a red-out, because your eyes get filled with excess blood. As for the limits of the human body, they did some rocket tests on a guy, and found that the maximum to for most humans to still live is about 40G's front and back, 20 G's up and down, and about 10 side to side. 3 G's is aabout the most a peron can take for a ling time. Most people start to black out around 8-9 sustained, sometimes 10 G's. Some people, with training can stay concouis up to about 13 G's. But, the epitomy is some race car driver that hit a wall and went from like 90 to 0 in about 20 inches. I think it was calculated that he took about 127 G's :o

Yeah, we understand what you're talking about. KSU is a really good team. Their problem lies in their strength of schedule. We usually start with several weak non-conference teams, and then move on to the hard Big 12 teams. If we loose at the beginning of the year, we suck cause we got beat by a crap team. If we loose towards the end of the year, we don't have enough time to bring us back in the polls. So basically, if K-State looses one game, we're screwed The problem also arises that KSU is not one of the "classic" schools like the florida teams. Becuase of that, no BCS bowl will take us unless we're undefeated. We don't have "the market" (which is BS). For example, I believe it was last year that we went like 10-1 and should've been in a BCS bowl, but the bowls instead went to teams ranked 1-7 and 14 (we were 8, and 14 was like 8-3 for the year). As for staying in the Big 12, its a hard league, with powerhouse teams like Nebraska, KSU, OK, Texas, and some other not-quite-so-good-but-still-decent teams like Missou and Colorado.

You know, I just dont' get it. KU beat (well, crushed, really) an almost unranked team, so they bring down the goalposts and dump them in the lake. WHY? They only beat Missou... that's nothing special. Beat Nebraska, or OK, or KSU, or Texas... now that'll be somethign to brag about in the Big 12. I've lived here 11 years and never heard of such a thing. now the real rivaly comes in KSU vs. KU, Though its always K-state over KU in football and KU over KSU in basketball. By the way, K-State is gonna romp all over Texas next week. I don't think they'll let another Marshall happen this year...

What works: Water textures, sounds, flying, menus most everything not in the next category What doesn't: Cockpit (black except for the HUD and a few other instruments), plane textures (all black, with blue afterburners) land textures.
