  1. Yeah, Ive actually noticed a mild porposing since the game came out on most of the aircraft. Ill try this fix as soon as I get a chance. Thanks for the heads up tailspin...
  2. AI MOD version 3 beta..

Fellas, I might suggest if you have a moment, post this topic over at the Thirdwire forums; there are a number of highly experianced modders, and of course TK, there that might be able to answer some of these questions you all have. Dueces and Fubar come to mind. I am personally highly interested in the outcome of this mod you are doing bort. It would be real nice to have something of a realism mod for this game. TK has said this is a "lite" sim but with its inherent ability to mod, it shouldnt be too hard to create some sort of realism mod to vastly improve gameplay. I would also be glad, as some have mentioned here already, to assist in any testing you might need.

This is cool. While the stock pilot photos are cool, I didnt like them just having numbers; I like names. Thanks...
  4. AlbatrosDI

Great! Thanks bord. I also posted a thread at SimHQ announcing your two aircraft mods. If you have a moment, might want to do that when you add a new mod; there is a large fanbase for this sim there, just fyi.

I agree with Indio, this is a nice sound. It sounds more like the older engines I think too, a little more "chuggy".

Hi Bort, Thanks for the early war mods to existing aircraft. I think its something we can use till a proper model comes out. Can you tell us more about the changes/improvements youve made to this aircraft and the DFW?

  9. I wonder how this would work in First Eagles with Spandaus and Lewis guns?
  10. I would highly recommend you add a screenshot to your downloads. Folks wont generally download something they cant see what it is first.
  11. Just a note to say I like the new appearance too, well done!

  17. This file has been updated as I have changed the cockpit from the SE5 to the Spad XIII. The Spad and the Salmson are both French aircraft and the Spad cockpit is likely closer to what was in the Salmson. Also, keep in mind, to the best of my knowledge, there wasnt a good gunsight on the Salmson; there isnt on the ingame model either.

  20. File Name: B-25B 180 squadron skin File Submitter: pcpilot File Submitted: 23 Feb 2006 File Updated: 10 Feb 2007 File Category: B-25 This is the "180 squadron" skin for the B-25 models made by the "A" team. This skin represents an aircraft flown by the RAF's 180 squadron over Northwestern Europe during late 1943 thru 1944. This skin works with the "B" version of the B-25 released by Capun and his "A" Team due to the lettering location on the fuselage side. Anyone who wants to may feel free to add any appropriate decals to the aircraft. You just might want to share the effort with the community...:o) Click here to download this file

  24. File Name: Ki-27 Nate IJAAF White skin Ver.2 File Submitter: pcpilot File Submitted: 18 Nov 2005 File Updated: 10 Feb 2007 File Category: Ki-27 This is the "Ki-27 Nate IJAAF White" Version 2 skin for the Ki-27 aircraft model VERSION 2 for Strike Fighters made by Wolf257. While this skin is ficticious, it does employ a LOT of authentic details. The reason being, I could not find a period color picture of a IJAAF aircraft painted in white. A lot of pics I looked at appeared to be white but its hard to tell with grainy black and white photos. The skin comes with its own set of numbers decals. An updated Data.ini file is included. This adjusted the machine gun armament firing position and the aircraft running lights position so they arent hanging out in the air anymore when you shoot or turn on your lights.
