Im trying to get the multiplayer to work on one of my two computers... both of which get their internet through a linksys broadband router! from what i can put together that complicates issues : / On the computer im having issues with when i join a session at hyper lobby it will load and then it will check files and then it will crash or say session not found after a few minutes of loading. The odd part is the game works on my other computer and its connected to the same internet too : / im confused and computer illiterate please help lol !

I tried your mission and it starts me on a carrier but my hornet takes off backwards and crashes ? ! ?

sorry for confusing you guys :) ... I meant that I want to fly hornets off of a carrier .... and i have the vietnam tomcats campaign downloaded... i was wondering if it was possible to edit that campaign to include both the hornet and the EA6B. Basically i just want to take hornet rides off of carriers ... however possible

Is the a mission in the D/L section where i can fly hornets or EA6B's off of a carrier? I have the vietnam tomcats campaign... can i edit it's .ini somehow so there will be more flyable aircraft to choose from in the loadout screen other than the tomcat?

man thats a sweet looking aircraft ! im a huge a-6 series guy... when could there be a possible release of this ?

I downloaded the add on infantry and have everything in place ( im getting things set up for the la drang valley mission ) i was looking at the readme and it says 3. open GroundObjectData.ini (found in \objects or extract it from ObjectData.cat) Merge folowing entrys in it and correct the XXX with continuous numbers: howver I cant find my GroundObjectData.ini file : [ ? ! and i dont know how to extract it from the ObjectData.cat..... what should i do? any helps apprecaited - mark

Ive almost got it! .. i'm trying to use the VF31 tomcatters pilot from column5... it didnt load and crashed the game when i went to fly with a tomcat ... ? for that one line i wrote this... PilotModelName=vf31af1 I did the same for the Copilot... without puting .lod after it ... since the readme said it wasnt required. The pilots are in the WOV/aircraft folder and not in a specific aircraft folder thanks for trying to help me lol

hi guys! im loving WOV and ive been wanting to make some missions of my own to share with the community... but i dont know how to do it... im a learner anyways when i go to select a terrain and i browse to to the terrain folder for WOV it shows as empty in the little browse box ... ... i think i confused you all lol anything you guys can say that might help a newb is welcome lol

hi! i was just wondering if the file extractor for WOV / SFP1 works like Loman does for lockon ( it pretty much does everything for you in terms of add-ons)... if it doesnt is there a program out there that does? just curious ! thanks guys

So just edit the line where it says pilot model name using wordpad? assuming everything else is in its proper place...

hey guys! ive been wanting to use the pilots from column5 for the longest time so i broke down and tried to use them this week. i cant get them to show up in the game?! im not sure if i edited the .ini right or something or put something in the wrong folder. any help would be greatly appreciated

Im having issues with lomacs multiplayer. when i click network play to play on the internet it redirects me to UBI.com and i have an account and all that stuff set up for that. But when i click on a game that i want to join it goes to the load screen and up comes a map. what do i do? should there be a game instead of a map? i clicked like everything trying to figure it out lol. any info you guys can give is highly appreciated! - mark

hey thanks, i bout the gold edition from eb games. i got the regular version without flamming cliffs to work fine but i still have problems with the code for flamming cliffs for some reason. guess ill figure it out sooner or later. this game rocks!

Hey guys! ... im running wovs on the latest patch .. I cant get any of the Cobra helicopters to work for some reason. i extracted them into a folder i made for them in the wingsovervietnam/aircraft folder since when i extract it the files go everywhere. im not exactly sure whats going on ? the readme didnt help alot. Also i couldnt get the AC-130 to work. it shows up on the aircaft list in the game but when i try to fly it .. it shows up invisible ... ? any help is much appreciated... sorry for bugging you guys

Is there a place where i can download or add some new radio chatter to wings over vietnam? i have no clue. But anywho i thought that would be cool. Especially for Close air support missions where you could have friendly troops on the ground directing your air strike ... that would be neat.

** I found the data.ini for the tomcat ( im trying to use vf31 pilots) .... I opend the file with notepade.... do you just edit it from there? because i tried and still didnt work. Are you supposed to have a special .ini editor ? if so where can i find one? thanks guys !

I had a cool idea .. what if you could make a backseat cockpit view for 2 seater airplanes like the phantom tomcat thunderchief etc. would that be too much of a hassel? I think it would be well worthit and bring a whole new dimension into the game. anywho something to think about. :)
