Got the Military Aircraft vol. 7 video in the mail yesterday. I did some Googling and found Cav Video Productions website and ordered the video a week ago. A-10 and A-7 aircraft are covered on this VHS. Pretty cool! I've never seen so much footage of the NAW variant (2 seater). A great addition to my personal collection. The A-7 stuff was interesting as well but I bought it for the A-10 stuff.

I tried looking for something by Hank Caruso with a loaded A-10 nose on view, but no joy. I've been searching my personal collections of pictures and websites with pix for a loaded A-10 but again no joy. If I find what I envision for the apropriate match for the motto (Ugly, but Well Hung) I'll send it your way. BTW, how about that link to the Store on the top of the Index page?

Was it just my download or did the audio have problems? Cutting out at times and being out of sync. Other than that, it was okay.

We sat up here at work a couple of years ago, just after the Cav got deployed to Bosnia, and came up with this: "Trans-atmospheric Spatial Relationship Co-ordinators" for Air Traffic Controllers. Give it a try, it might be fun considering some of the latest news and stuff.

Well for better or worse this reaction falls mostly on UbiSofts shoulders. It was not the public that touted and pimped the product as "revolutionary in the flight sim genre". They sewed those seeds, and whatever grows will be to their credit or detriment accordingly. I have nothing against the ED team, with the possible exception of who they decided to let publish their title. I will admit that I know nothing of the computer software industry, but it seems like a rather basic business aspect - cultivate a customer base, don't piss it off. I've seen other genres of gaming endure continual price increases, and what seem to be terrible marketing decisions. However, loyal customers will remain loyal if the product is good. I cannot speak of the quality of UbiSofts other products, because I don't play any of them. I can however empithize with the ferver building against their customers impressions of how they are being treated. I will go out of my way to shop somewhere and even pay a bit more. That is if the quality of the product is good and the service is of the highest quality. I will probably end up owning a copy of LOMAC, but I cannot be expected to not be dissappointed by the continual delays and let downs. Just my $0.02 for what it's worth.

Is the industry so structured that game developers cannot publish a title on their own? Are there some sort of publishing gestapo that black-ball companies that try? There was a time long ago (about the early 90's or so) when there was a swarm of companies: Spectrum Holobyte, EA, Activision just to name a very few that had Aviation Sim titles out on the shelf. What happened?

Have you checked the 'Reconditioned' tab lately? They have an X45 for $39.99. Sorry they don't ship to Israel, have you contacted them to ask if they would? Maybe someone there could drop it off directly at the UPS place instead of using their shipping account (which might not be set up for overseas delivery).
