  1. File Name: Chilean F-5E File Submitter: rhugouvi File Submitted: 12 Dec 2005 File Category: SF F-5 Skins Hi all! The Chilean skin for the amazing F-5E from the Mirage Factory is back. The former file had to be removed because of UL problems. Enjoy! Rhugouvi "Juntos Podemos Mas!", SFP1 community self proclaimed motto Click here to download this file
  2. File Name: Vector Thrust Adaptation for existing Harrier FRS51 & AV-8S File Submitter: rhugouvi File Submitted: 11 Dec 2005 File Updated: 9 Sep 2007 File Category: Harriers Hi all! This pack is the follow-up of the adaptation of the VT model from the AV-8C to existing Harrier. .ini files are included to mod the FRS51 and AV-8 add-ons available at checksix-fr.com and column5.us. The AV-8C is of course available here at CombatAce. Thanks once more to the real authors of the "Beasts"... Click here to download this file
  3. File Name: Vector Thrust Adaptation for existing Harrier FRS1 & FRS2 File Submitter: rhugouvi File Submitted: 7 Dec 2005 File Updated: 9 Sep 2007 File Category: Harriers This mod is just a shameless .ini tweak in order to adaptat the vector-thrust mod developped for the AV-8C to previously released Harriers (FRS1 and FRS2). It should be regarded as a *temporary mod*, so that you can improve your vertical landing skills on Royal Navy's carriers while waiting for "real" updated Harrier add-ons. I have just deleted the motor and overeffective flaps sections in SeaHarrier_DATA.INI and HarrierFRS2_DATA.INI, in order to add the new motor and nozzles of the AV-8C. Nothing else has been edited, the Flight Model remains unchanged. So, all credit is due to the different teams involved in the AV-8C, FRS1 and FRS2 add-ons, namely and in no particular order: MontyCZ USAFMTL Russo Volksjager Deacon211 Sundowner MarcFighters C5 Moonjumper 331KillerBee Kreelin Kesselbrut BPAO wpnssgt Click here to download this file
  4. File Name: Recce Mod Test Pack File Submitter: rhugouvi File Submitted: 22 Nov 2005 File Category: SF Object Mods Hi! Here's a very simple ini mod that adds views in order to simulate recce cameras. Everything (I really mean everything) is in the read-me txt. Smile you villains, you're getting snapped! 5. File Name: New Icon File Submitter: rhugouvi File Submitted: 12 Nov 2005 File Category: SF Hanger/Menu Screens Lo! Since I find the original icon for SF pretty ugly, here's something for your visual convenience... You can imagine it's whatever you want: a missile blast, full AB by night, the soul of a communist (or a imperialist fascist) burning in hell, and so on... Well, it works only for shortcuts, but that's better than nothing at all! Just rename the .bmp into .ico (answer "yes" to the subsequent question). Then right-click on the shortcut, "properties", "shortcut", and "change the icon". Browse to find SFP1.ico, "Ok", it's all done! Click here to download this file
  6. Hi all! I'm working on a attack plane project, and this plane is supposed to have two bombbays: one for bombs, the other for missiles. The INI writing stage is nearing, so I'm wondering if it's possible to have two separate bays, with distinct animations. Thanks in advance!
  7. I'll look at how you manage to do it on your flying wings. Thanks again.
  8. Thanks Capun! BTW, is the syntax something like: [bombbay001] ... [bombbay002] ... ? I don't want you to do the job, but if you already know the correct writing, it could avoid a waste of time. Thanks again anyway. Nasty bad people, here I come!
  9. Favorite Falkand's War Aircraft

    Argentine Pucara, I second that.
  10. Gun kill test video

We get a real speed feeling in the last few second (as the Shar flys over the buildings). And nice buddy kill!
  11. Computer Specs to run JT?

'Lo all! I've been following the development of this promising sim for quite a while now, and since my good ol'PC is about to break down, I've been wondering what my new one should look like? Gamewise I mean: how many GHz, how much RAM and so on, so that JT runs smoothly. Thanks! Rhugouvi
  12. Computer Specs to run JT?

Ok, thanks! Hope I'll have some money left to buy the game... Of course I will! BTW, in which countries do you plan to release JT?
  13. Ni Hao CHN-Angel! I have the same issue (a flashing head-up display) with the Hornet and the Tomcat (I haven't tried with the F-16). From what I've learnt, this problem is linked with the graphic card (a GeForce 4 440 MX in my case). I haven't found a fix yet, so I don't fly those planes, and it's kind of frustrating :(
  14. i wanted to use the tv screen as a recce scope, but TK has explained that many features of the designators/FLIR/recce cameras are not implemented yet, even tough the params appear in the weapon editor. So, we'll have to wait a little bit, I'm afraid. But TK has never disappointed us so far!
  15. If you don't know this site, many interesting pix of US planes: http://uscockpits.com
  16. Zerocinco, please, we don't give a d**n about how big your buddy lawyer is in Beverly Hills. You do yourself a disservice with your threats and "or else..." strategy . Had you explained what you REALLY intended to use the mods for and got the explicit permission from the original authors, you would have nothing to fear! So, tell us how breathtaking YAP is and flood us with dramatic in-game pix. Do a real communication job about YAP if you want us to buy a real copy of it.
  17. Kadaicha Man: Welcome! Mustang's tutorials are the best doc you can get when it comes to 3D modelling. They are totally aircraft modelling oriented. You can get them here (Skunk Works), among many other interesting things. Hope it helps!
  18. The new ViewList.INI has to be dropped into the Flight folder (so you did this right). In this file, new views are defined with appropriate aim angles and key commands (numpad1 and so on). But since those key commands are not mapped by default, you have to write corresponding lines in the appropriate INI file in the controls folder. This INI file is default.INI if you have not created a new command map. Otherwise the INI file is the one you have created (eg MyControls.INI). Anyway, the command INI file (in the Controls folder) should look like this: [ControlSet001] EXIT_FLIGHT=ESCAPE QUIT_GAME=ALT+Q PAUSE_FLIGHT=ALT+P TIME_COMPRESSION=ALT+T NORMAL_TIME=ALT+R CHANGE_TIME=ALT+C SKIP_TO_NEXT=ALT+N RADIO_COMM=TAB CHAT_ALL=GRAVE CHAT_ENEMY=SHIFT+GRAVE CHAT_FRIENDLY=CTRL+GRAVE CHAT_TARGET=ALT+GRAVE AUTO_PILOT=A WING_LEVELER=SHIFT+A NEXT_WAYPOINT=W PREV_WAYPOINT=SHIFT+W MAP=M SCREEN_SHOT=PRINTSCREEN GOTO_COCKPIT_FRONT_VIEW=F1 GOTO_COCKPIT_LEFT_VIEW=F2 GOTO_COCKPIT_RIGHT_VIEW=F3 GOTO_COCKPIT_UP_VIEW=SHIFT+F1 GOTO_VIEW_PADLOCK=F4 TOGGLE_COCKPIT=NUMPADPERIOD SNAP_VIEW_FRONT=NUMPAD8 SNAP_VIEW_FRONT_RIGHT=NUMPAD9 SNAP_VIEW_RIGHT=NUMPAD6 SNAP_VIEW_REAR_RIGHT=NUMPAD3 SNAP_VIEW_REAR_LEFT=NUMPAD1 SNAP_VIEW_LEFT=NUMPAD4 SNAP_VIEW_FRONT_LEFT=NUMPAD7 SNAP_VIEW_UP=NUMPAD5 SNAP_VIEW_DOWN=NUMPAD0 GOTO_VIEW_SHOULDER=F5 GOTO_VIEW_OBJECT_NEXT=F6 GOTO_VIEW_OBJECT_PREV=SHIFT+F6 GOTO_VIEW_GROUND_OBJECT_NEXT=F7 GOTO_VIEW_GROUND_OBJECT_PREV=SHIFT+F7 GOTO_VIEW_TARGET=F8 GOTO_VIEW_PLAYER_TO_TARGET=SHIFT+F8 GOTO_VIEW_TARGET_TO_PLAYER=CTRL+F8 GOTO_VIEW_WEAPON=F9 GOTO_VIEW_PLAYER_TO_WEAPON=SHIFT+F9 GOTO_VIEW_WEAPON_TO_PLAYER=CTRL+F9 GOTO_VIEW_FLYBY=F10 GOTO_VIEW_FLYBY_PREV=SHIFT+F10 GOTO_VIEW_TOWER=F11 GOTO_VIEW_TOWER_PREV=SHIFT+F11 GOTO_VIEW_ACTION_CAM=F12 GOTO_FREE_VIEW=CTRL+F12 CAMERA_PITCH_UP=ALT+UPARROW CAMERA_PITCH_DOWN=ALT+DOWNARROW CAMERA_YAW_RIGHT=ALT+RIGHTARROW CAMERA_YAW_LEFT=ALT+LEFTARROW CAMERA_ZOOM_IN=MOUSE_BUTTON01 CAMERA_ZOOM_OUT=MOUSE_BUTTON02 CAMERA_PITCH_AXIS=MOUSE_Y-AXIS CAMERA_YAW_AXIS=MOUSE_X-AXIS CAMERA_ZOOM_CONTROL=MOUSE_Z-AXIS PITCH_UP=DOWNARROW PITCH_DOWN=UPARROW ROLL_RIGHT=RIGHTARROW ROLL_LEFT=LEFTARROW YAW_RIGHT=PERIOD YAW_LEFT=COMMA THROTTLE_UP=EQUALS THROTTLE_DOWN=MINUS THRUST_VECTOR_UP=CTRL+EQUALS THRUST_VECTOR_DOWN=CTRL+MINUS FLAPS_DOWN=F FLAPS_UP=V AIRBRAKES_TOGGLE=S WHEELBRAKES_TOGGLE=B LANDING_GEARS_TOGGLE=G ARRESTER_HOOK_TOGGLE=H CYCLE_NAV_LIGHT=CTRL+L DRAG_CHUTE=CTRL+B EJECT=SHIFT+ESCAPE PITCH_CONTROL= YAW_CONTROL= ROLL_CONTROL= THROTTLE_CONTROL= THRUST_VECTOR_CONTROL= NEXT_AA_WEAPONS=BACKSPACE PREV_AA_WEAPONS=SHIFT+BACKSPACE NEXT_AG_WEAPONS=BACKSLASH PREV_AG_WEAPONS=SHIFT+BACKSLASH FIRE_PRIMARY_GUN=SPACE FIRE_SECONDARY_GUN= FIRE_WEAPON=RETURN OPEN_BOMBBAY_DOOR=CTRL+O DROP_TANKS=CTRL+D JETTISON_STORES=CTRL+J NEXT_RIPPLE_QUANTITY=RBRACKET PREV_RIPPLE_QUANTITY=SHIFT+RBRACKET NEXT_RIPPLE_INTERVAL=LBRACKET PREV_RIPPLE_INTERVAL=SHIFT+LBRACKET NEXT_HUD_MODE=APOSTROPHE PREV_HUD_MODE=SHIFT+APOSTROPHE NEXT_GUNGROUP=SEMICOLON PREV_GUNGROUP=SHIFT+SEMICOLON CHAFF=C FLARE=X ECM_TOGGLE=Z TOGGLE_RADAR=CTRL+PGUP NEXT_RADAR_MODE=PGUP PREV_RADAR_MODE=SHIFT+PGUP NEXT_RADAR_RANGE=PGDN PREV_RADAR_RANGE=SHIFT+PGDN SELECT_NEXT_RADAR_TARGET=HOME SELECT_PREV_RADAR_TARGET=SHIFT+HOME ACQUIRE_RADAR_TARGET=INSERT ACQUIRE_VISUAL_TARGET_ON_RADAR=SHIFT+INSERT REJECT_RADAR_TARGET=DELETE SELECT_CLOSEST_CENTER=NUMPADSTAR SELECT_TARGET=T SELECT_PREV_TARGET=SHIFT+T SELECT_CLOSEST_TARGET=CTRL+T SELECT_FRIENDLY=Y SELECT_PREV_FRIENDLY=SHIFT+Y SELECT_CLOSEST_FRIENDLY=CTRL+Y SELECT_GROUND=E SELECT_PREV_GROUND=SHIFT+E SELECT_CLOSEST_GROUND=CTRL+E SELECT_LAST_RADIO=R SELECT_LAST_RADIO_CALLER=SHIFT+R SELECT_RADAR_TARGET=CTRL+R SELECT_WAYPOINT=CTRL+W DESELECT_TARGET= GOTO_CAMERA_LEFT_VIEW=NUMPAD1 <----- added line GOTO_CAMERA_RIGHT_VIEW=NUMPAD3 <----- added line GOTO_CAMERA_DOWN_VIEW=NUMPAD2 <----- added line GOTO_CAMERA_FRONT_VIEW=NUMPAD5 <----- added line [ControlSet002] ... ... 19. BTW, what kind of data do you have about the U-2s and their cockpit? I'm considering working on those birds so I need some pix. And of course it'd be fine collaborating!
  20. Nice to see you fixed the pbs, and that you share it!
  21. Ok, Serverandenforcer, thanks for the explanation! Concerning the modelling, it's been wise to start with a prototype (i'm currently working on a A-12 Avenger II). So that whiners don't come and say "this should be bigger, that flatter" and so on.
  22. I only get the missing d3dx9_28 and _30 DLL files, it's enough to make everything run smoothly!
  23. By the way, what MTL stands for? Many US acronyms remain a mystery to me... Thanks
  24. Don't forget Blender, which is free too.
  25. Just a question: on the 100 missions, how many are recce ones?
