    This mod is just a shameless .ini tweak in order to adaptat the vector-thrust mod developped for the AV-8C to previously released Harriers (FRS1 and FRS2). It should be regarded as a *temporary mod*, so that you can improve your vertical landing skills on Royal Navy's carriers while waiting for "real" updated Harrier add-ons. I have just deleted the motor and overeffective flaps sections in SeaHarrier_DATA.INI and HarrierFRS2_DATA.INI, in order to add the new motor and nozzles of the AV-8C. Nothing else has been edited, the Flight Model remains unchanged. After some .ini tweaking, here's the first screenshot of the recce capability mod in progress. 4 views of a special view class are added in vertical and oblical directions, with the corresponding keys in the Control/default.ini. The picture is made from a level flying Mirage III... A few more days at work, and I could be able to upload some decent on Combatace!   8. Hello! I've just DLed the Wovqmd by Kreelin from the DL section for my SF P3, and I've tried to create a carrier ops training mission. I have no problem for the landing. But I just can't select the "take-off" box in the Object Properties. I click on it, but no kick appears, neither for the player flight not AI. And it doesn't depend on the a/c type. Some ideas? Thanks...

    Lo! Since I find the original icon for SF pretty ugly, here's something for your visual convenience... You can imagine it's whatever you want: a missile blast, full AB by night, the soul of a communist (or a imperialist fascist) burning in hell, and so on... Well, it works only for shortcuts, but that's better than nothing at all! Just rename the .bmp into .ico (answer "yes" to the subsequent question). Then right-click on the shortcut, "properties", "shortcut", and "change the icon". Browse to find SFP1.ico, "Ok", it's all done!
  10. I've just had the same problem! Your wovqmd.exe file is probably not in the main Strike Fighters folder. So the only thing to do is to move the .exe into the SF folder along FlightSim.exe, SFI.ico and so on... Noob powa!

  12. Ooooooops, problem solved: I made the carrier move in order to make the landing easier. And now that I have made it stop, I can select the take-off box... By the way, is it possible to add an hook and carrier capability to a plane? For instance, I'd like to create carrier missions for the F9F5 Panther, but no hook seems to be inclued in the model...
  13. Hello,! I've just added the lastest weapon pack (of the 11/01) and the F3H-2M, but in the loadout screen, there's no stock at all, so that it's impossible to add Sparrow to the bird. And no fuel tank by the way. Anyone has an idea to correct it? Thanks.

I've made the mods (changed the FOV and so on) but I don't know how to add the key to switch the beautiful sight view shown in the DL section (how to get the sight and its "surrondings" fga files by the way?) That's a lot of questions, but I guess I'm not the only one that dumb (hmmm, I hope so). Thanks

  18. Hello folks! On some add-on planes, some kind of "grid" or "diamonds" appears on the canopy (at least on the sea vixen and the F84F from Column5). I guess it's been done on purpose, but I'm wondering if there's a way to hide it. Thanks for your tips!
