SAM is Surface to Air Missile and AAA is Automated AntiAircraft( i think on this one).But what ever it is it's radar guided Anti Aircraft fire. How this helps

I would rather wait for them to get alot of problems fixed right as opposed to getting a bandade for a few.so I'm patient.

Well written and very informitive...I just wished you'd have talked more on the various planes that come canned,especailly the F-4.I also like the 312th reference :D but thats just me. Oh yeah..Mig Alley covered the F-86 Vs Mig 15 duel very well but was shot out teh sky by it's"under developed"multiplayer and being stuck with playing on mplayer,then gamespy.

I just noticed that myself...all I get is a"no joy" call from all my flight.

not sure if this is a bug but when I start a bomb run and start dropping flares and chaff I can't see flares(I figure you can't see chaff anyways)I can't see them in mirrors either.Also I have game set to hard and every now and then I find I fly into ground without damage.just sit there on my back like a big ole turtle.

I haven't played any games at gamespy..I used to play on Mplayer and after they joined I decided that anything to do with Mplague just wasn't worth it.Even the latest version of gamespy I would ventrue a guess that gamespy is still the problem.

OK after trying this out I have found that it's addictive...but it's a blast!The best of everything,high speed and you have to be a gun fighter...anybody can fill the sky with AMMRAMs and run but guns!! that's a very different story.

I'm amember of a Janes F-18 squadron that I''m hoping to expand out to SF..VMFA-312.Will let you know more as I talk to my CO.also I havr requested a VMFA-312 skin..I'm hoping for this.The real 312th flew F-4s so This should be great!

My loving wife surprised me by bringing home a big box and a bag...concidering she was going to the grocery store I kinda wondered what she had....for my birthday she got me SF and a new 19" monitor!What a woman!!no wonder I married her. :D

I have been watching and waiting for this sim(Love this era of avaiation),and I've been reading alot of different forums so I want to ask you guys here as this seems to be one of the better boards. I've been reading that I should wait on some boards and others say go ahead and get it and have fun.I have just about every flight sim around and I've been involved some of of the really great games and some of the not so great and some of the getting better everyday games(SDOE and Falcon 4). So what's yalls advice? Go ahead and get SF or wait? I've pretty much told myself to go ahead and get the sim..hey I stuck with SDOE!! so I'm not new to waiting on add-ons and patches to fix small problems.I'm currently playing Silent Hunter 2 and had to wait for another game to be released before the multiplayer was released and even now we're working on replacing the MP engine with a newer,more stable one. Whats yalls opinion..should go ahead and jump in?

Thanks I'd pretty much already made my mind up to get it..like I said I've been doing this for awhile so I know nothing is perfect out of thte box..and I even stuck with SDOE.. :D
