OK the rar files and zip files are prtty close to the same thing,a compression program if you have winzip then heres a link for winrar http://x11.putfile.com/3/7712210662.jpg and the other option is a self extracting exe file..just some people like rar and some like winzip.Theres even more compression programs floating around but these are the most used.You open both the same way,and install add-ons the same way.Hope this helps..if not I'll try to do better.

not sure what you mean..but if you're looking to convert to rar to zip then use winrar to open and then zip.if you're looking to run thats the ticket..nothing to change.rar files and zipped files are the same.I'm not sure what you are trying to say so I hope this is the answer you were looking for.

Il2 The highly anticipated patch for IL2-Pacific Fighters is now available! In addition to the tuning of the flight model for the next series of games from 1C:Maddox (Battle of Britain), this patch includes a plethora of flyable aircraft and many more AI aircraft. Of special note for the allies is the Mosquito (FB variant), the Tempest (think if a P-47 and a Spitfire had a baby and fed it steroids), and the later model Spitfire cleared for 25lb boost. Of special note the axis will get the DO335 experimental plane, the JU88 (a medium dive bomber freak of a plane), and the Bf109-K cleared for 1.5atm boos level (basically a U.F.O.!). Read more for the official readme. New Features Flyable aircraft Do-335A-0 Ju-88A4 Tempest MK.V Mosquito FB.MK.VI* MC-200 III MC-202 III MC-202 VII MC-202 XII MC-205 I MC-205 III J2M3* Bf-109K4 C3 Spitfire MK.IX 25lbs FW-190A5 1.65Ata AI aircraft: J2M5* N1K2-Ja* Mosquito F.MK.IV* MC-200 I MC-200 VII MC-200 VIIFB Ju-88 Notes: Top Rear Gunners. Unfortunately, the Il-2 / FB / PF code was never intended for a single crewman alternating between firing positions due to online gameplay limitations. In Ju-88 cause we would not be able to prevent the AI from, for example, firing the rear right top gun while the player fired the left gun. Due to these limitations and in order to keep a level playing field, the right top gunner in Ju-88 will always be controlled by AI. The Ju-88 is no different in controls from other flyable bombers on all other respects. 3D model of cockpit. Please accept this cockpit as it is. Dive Bombing Method in the Ju-88 These are the actual instructions from the historical Fl Üb 8-179/4 manual. (Traditional method with "Dive Automation") Close radiator. Set propeller pitch to 100% (Auto). Set bombsight speed to estimated drop speed (can also adjust during dive). Set bombsight altitude (for example 1000m). Center trim (on Ju88 red marks). Press Divebrake button (this will also trim plane to dive). Set power to idle (0%). Take aim with ring in top part of the sight. Also take note of the dive bombing marker ("Krawatte") below the ring on the vertical line. Hold target in the ring until you hear the drop altitude warning buzzer. Pull up so that the dive bombing marker becomes superimposed on the target. Hold steady for a moment. Press the bomb release button (this will also initiate the pull-out by centering the trim again). Press the divebrake button again to raise the brakes up. Apply power slowly to avoid overspeeding the engines. Open the radiator and adjust prop pitch for cruise, if necessary. Do-335 Notes: Aircraft is equipped with propeller feathering devices. They work normally like on other two-engine bombers of the sim (i.e. when using separate engine control). Speeds for maximum rated power was calculated from the known German trial curves of A-0 series for the combat power ("Steig- und Kampfleistung") - 609 km/h at Sea Level and 773 km/h at 6,500 m Aircraft is equipped with the ejection seat. The top vertical stabilizer and the rear propeller are also jettisoned for safer bail out. New ground objects: New buildings (coming soon to a Norway map near you from third party!) Modifications and fixes There is a large number of small modifications to the entire code of our simulation. We accumulated user input and fixed lots of big and little things in order to polish our simulation even further. We sincerely thank all of our users who were so helpful in the process! In order to solve that, copy your il2_core.dll into the il2_corep4.dll (for example, with the following command: "copy il2_core.dll il2_corep4.dll"; or, in Windows Explorer, navigate to your sim installation directory, delete the existing il2_corep4.dll, make a copy of the il2_core.dll, and rename the copy to il2_corep4.dll) Graphics: Reworked water render To see the updated water render please modify the Water section in the file conf.ini in the [Render_OpenGL] section. Water = 0 or 1 ? No changes in version 4.03. Water = 2 ? This mode is visually similar to water = 3 but it runs on ATI cards 9800, X800, X1800 and later models. Water = 3 ? Fast render mode with Vertex Shaders 3.0 (NVIDIA 6600 and later models) Water = 4 ? The Rules are in place and we're getting ready to start,If you would like some really fun Saturday Sub Fun check out TAW and our campain.: OK First off A BIG thank you to everyone for helping in this..after some talking it over we have set up the basic rules for this new campain: 1)Missions will begin with the earliest date possible. 2)ALL skippers will start with a type 2 boat with rookie crews.After 3 missions crews will be upgraded. 3)upgrades in boats will be based on tonnage during missions to move up will take 50,000 ton to move from type 2 to a type 7,and 100,000 tons to move from type 7 to type 9,with variants available after each 25,000. 4)game settings will be Normal with a limited number of torps for each mission 5)If you are sunk in a mission,your next mission will be in a type 2 boat with a rookie crew,and after that the next mission you will get back your old boat BUT with a rookie crew. 6)Keep an eye on the TAW forums for updates each week as we will post everyones results.If you are interested in joining in the fun let us know.Spread the word!! 7)when submerged there will be no comms,unless and emergency or leaving the game.

grab it at the lomac site.LOMAC heres the fixes: LockOn: Flaming Cliffs Patch Patch version 1.12 This is the cumulative patch and can be installed over Lock On 1.1 or Lock On 1.11. Version 1.12 is not compatible with any previous versions of Lock On in multiplayer. All players must use version 1.12. Track files recorded in previous versions might not be played back correctly in this version. This patch has rollback option, in order to play back old track files. You may experience some difficulties with older missions and campaigns due to new capability of some SAM sites to intercept anti-radiation missiles. You may edit missions manually to make mission accomplishment easier. You may increase the quantity of aircrafts in SEAD packages or decrease the number of SAM sites. In case of problems with TrackIR device please exit LockOn, delete \Input\TrackIR.ini file and start the game again. Corrected bugs and added features 1.12 * SAMs will prioritize targets based on range: The nearest target will be attacked first. * Random MP black screens is fixed. * Incorrect MP flaps animation on A-10A fixed. This has increased frame rate when vehicles are viewed at a distance. * The F-15C can no longer identify a jamming target as friendly or enemy. * Radar lock for the F-15C in Vertical Scan (VS) mode and Gun mode is no longer instantaneous. * The F-15C backup artificial horizon now works correctly. * The F-15C backup compass on the canopy frame now shows the correct heading. * The F-15C can no longer acquire targets located behind a jamming aircraft. * Fixed the incorrect indication of range to next waypoint on the F-15 HUD. * The chaff and flares quantity for the F-15 has been increased. It is now equipped with 120 chaff packets and 60 flares. * The Su-27/33 and MiG-29 appear on the TEWS and RWR as a ?29? symbol because of the similarity of the associated radars. * ARH missiles will now use a conical search pattern when trying to acquire or reacquire a target. The search pattern will begin from the longitudinal axis of the missile, or the last known position of a designated target. * Seeker gimbal limits for ARH and IR guided missiles have been significantly reduced. * Patriot, I-HAWK, MICA AR, and Buk missiles can now use a loft trajectory when engaging targets at long range. * New AWACS detection logic. It would take one of the newer..and VERY high end laptops to run it...LOMAC will,when I set the graphics up,bring my system to it's knees! -
If the trouble is inside the game,1)check calibration,2)make sure game is recognising it,3)go back into teh options and reset your controls again.be sure to check and make sure you click accept in the customize screen.
