My wife decided to buy me GR gold edition..at wally world...at the checkout they scanned the game and carded her...said you have to be 18 or older to buy it.of course I had a good laugh but she wasn't real happy about having to dig out ID.

This aircraft is a beauty!!! I highly recommend this one..great detail from nose to tail and is VERY easy to fly.

2003 brought us some truely great flight sims,and some great FPS sims..now it looks naval simmers will get their plates filled with atleast 3 new and very exciting looking titles already announced...PT Boats:Knights of the Sea,Dangerous waters,and now Silent hunter 3. Rocky at Ghostrecon.net posted that Christian has finished his new Campain.Now before yall go running to Fileplanet and downloading it..it comes in at 170 megs,mainly due to the music files,but theres a no music file it's a mere 25 megs,but the author says it music adds to the atmosphere so if you can stand a BIG download get the music file.

please check your drivers and maybe close all back ground programs before starting game...I have a AMD XP3000+,512 2700DDR,and a FX 5700 ultra with the 53.3 drivers,running it maxed I get 20FPS and if i cut it back to med. settings I get between 30 and 40..your system should run it great,could be a program running in the back ground drawing from your system.Hope you get it going as I was a disbeliever,like you but now I really enjoy this sim.

I thing I saw somebody was starting a F-4U add-on..that could be interesting.

Theres a chance that Ghost Recon 2 could be released this year..I'll keep yall posted on the news releases on this. Chief,don't try to change anything at first..just see if you can access all your files and programs.if you can then the problem is a program based hic-up and you can fix this by running MS config and shutting it down at start up...this is easy way to find out. start>run>msconfig>start up tab>leave only the bare basics running uncheck the boxes next to the ones you don't want to use at start up..I just leave zone alarm and anti virus on(oh yeah...and Folding).once you leave this on then click apply and restart.easy as eating pancakes.

Chief if you're using XP then when you get the windows start up screen,watch it and it will tell you to hit F8 to get to safe mode...start it up in safe mode only..there's a couple different mode but just use the safe mode(without anything else running).this starts up system with the bare min. it needs..from there you can see if you can get into all your drives and programs files.

Chief have you tried to start up in "safe mode"yet?if not try that...then you can find the little bugger...and even edit your reg. and delete the prolem..or change your start up.

Ok,so nothings perfect..that said please do a few things before posting your problems. 1)make sure you install SF,patch1,and patch2 as completely clean install(I know theres alot of you that have alot of add-on aircraft,skins,terrain..but completely uninstall your old install) 2)make sure your settings are corect(hey I thought it wasn't recognising my throttle-it wasn't set up to use it,my bad.so check them please) 3)if it's something you've heard others having check to see if they've found a fix..drivers,settings... 4)and finally before posting remember the better you discribe the problem and when it happens,the better TK will be able to fix it.is it an constant problem,only with certain aircraft..you know what I mean.

just saw they started them in vietnam using F-100s but they lost so many that they switched to the F-105...the crews got to pair up and after they did they had a mock wedding,the vows were basically"100 missions or till death do us part" they even showed the move they used to defeat the sams...fly stright at them...let the missile track them and then dive...as they closed the THUD would pull up with full burners...sam couldn't match this move,so then turn and shoot radar.

Ok so I got it because it was said to offer so many new weapons and missions..and a new campain...but after playing with it...GET it run over to http://www.ghostrecon.net and follow the WOW link.this is a great one.now if OFP could get their maps this detailed and the graphics this good and maintain the gameplay it has I'd be teh first in line to buy it.

your right in thats the MX cards aren't liked by lomac..but SF does...sorry I can't help you on the ini files but might ask some of the great modders here at Biohaz.
