Its a "crew positioning" problem in Data.ini for the mig-21. I fixed mine by playing with the numbers: Try this with: Open Mig-21xxx Data.ini with notpad Scroll down to "crew" Change position as below: // Crew --------------------------------------------------------- [Pilot] SystemType=PILOT_COCKPIT PilotModelName= SetCockpitPosition=TRUE Position=0.0,2.83,0.85 <---------------------this is the numbers to change! ;) MinExtentPosition=-0.30, 2.37, 0.05 MaxExtentPosition= 0.30, 3.42, 1.05 HasArmor=TRUE ArmorMaterial=GLASS Armor[FRONT].Thickness=62 CanopyNodeName=Canopy -

Tweak it....can take off some of the rockets, make multiple passes etc..... I've been working on a CAS mission requested by a member, and its got alot of enemy in one area, I put the OV-10 into it as described and it marked the enemy pretty well, enough that I could see it in my A/C....., so I consider it close enough.... With a little work, I might get the "FAC talk" coordinated with the OV-10 smoke..... ;)

Do you have lastest weapons pack? Did you create a LOADOUT in the OV-10 loadout.ini? and finally, did you assign the target and make the ov-10's mission CAS? PM me and i'll help ya out.....

Okay.....I worked out something that is REAL close. Found the right smoke rockets and made a loadout for OV-10A: [FAC1] Loadout[01].WeaponType=LAU-32B_Mk40_Mk67mod1 Loadout[01].Quantity=1 Loadout[02].WeaponType=LAU-32B_Mk40_Mk67mod1 Loadout[02].Quantity=1 Loadout[03].WeaponType=LAU-32B_Mk40_Mk67mod1 Loadout[03].Quantity=1 Loadout[04].WeaponType=LAU-32B_Mk40_Mk67mod1 Loadout[04].Quantity=1 Loadout[05].WeaponType=LAU-32B_Mk40_Mk67mod1 Loadout[05].Quantity=1 Loadout[06].WeaponType=LAU-32B_Mk40_Mk67mod1 Loadout[06].Quantity=1 Loadout[07].WeaponType=Tank_OV-10 Loadout[07].Quantity=1 Then created a mission with Me in F100, and AI in OV-10A. Put some T-55 out there, assigned the OV-10A the target, took his AMMO to "0", made his mission CAS. Worked like a charm...he fired smoke all over the tanks!

Which ones are they? Okay, now, if we got smoke, we might be able to FAC.....or am i missing something..

I've been playing around with that for awhile. Question: OV-10A loadout LAU-61 & 32 have green, yellow and ref smoke options, but when I try them, none of them have colored smoke? I've tried with effects option on high, different rockets etc, but to no avail. Tried O-1E and standard FAC loadout is HVAR rockets, they produce good explosion, with pretty visible smoke, but no colors. Now, with the latest Dueces Effects pack, there appear to be colored smoke with willie petes. Does anybody have colored smoke? If I could get colored smoke, logic would have it that you could make a loadout with just the smoke and have AI attack a target with smoke.....

Get the new KMD, its improved over older Kremlin.....all targets are assignable, old one had problem with some targets. -
I lost mine too. Just went back and downloaded new ones and edited the data.ini for the a/c. Only issue I had after that was with mig-21....had to edit position, wasn't hard at all though. First number is 0.0 (which I believe is left/right) second number is for/aft(or forward, backwards for you USAF types... ....higher number is forward, lower number is backward. Last number is height....higher number raises, lower number lowers .05 +/- makes big difference. Wrench's site has a ton of them, column 5 too..... Check out the Korean era, and 50's era here as well.... Hadn't messed with these much before(except the helo pilots), but there are some REALLY good ones out there. Must be a campaign flight? I here ya man.....just go with it....and hope you hit the target. Sound Mods are really cool....all have there plus/minus Probably start with Fubar's Megapack 1 available here. Lots of good A/C sounds. You need to know how to edit A/C Data.ini....but once you've done it, its very easy. Just follow any readme that accompanies the mod....thats the most important thing. All the sound mods can be added, then taken away if you change you mind. I use alot of them, but my favorites are the a/c sound mods....I have all my A-4's with different sounds. -

Lol......no real need, just thought it looked bizarre. They flew them for some time apparently...... Why we didn't launch raids to destroy these a/c before they fell into NVA hands I'll never know. Politics I'm sure, but seems an easy solution 30 yrs later..... Last one, I promise....lol
