  1. Crash Logs

Yeah it would be..it is one of the things that the guys at F4UT relied upon religiously while fixing the bugs in Falcon..for those that have F4 and haven't tried SP3 I have a question..ARE YOU LOST?!? What part of ALL Fixed don't you understand.. ok..back to the topic at hand..if this could be implimented in some way shape or form, either through a third party dll that generates the txt file or some kind of monitor utility that detects what happens when SF ctds DK
  2. Supersonic??

Mach one is about 675 knots at sea level..I've hit mach one in the F4B at level flight with full weapons load..best way to tell..the machmeter located on the panel DK
  3. Might need to contact thrust master on that one..sounds like something didn't uninstall DK
  4. Denzil, In F4 if you hit List, then 2 you can reset your low altitude warnings :-) make em at 50 feet and its a nice silent flight..the bitch in bitchin betty is gone.. LOL DK
  5. Anyone notice what this does? DK
  6. Alt+C

    Aha... DK
  7. Alt+C

yeah..I figured that one out wwhen I was looking for time compression..still haven't found it..LOL DK
  8. I wonder how much longer... DK
  9. Run windows update pc..make sure to DL all critical updates for windows..as well as any "device driver" updates like Virtual machine etc.. DK
  10. F100 does it at about 160 knots...it also does it when it trans**tions from LEF-open to LEF-Closed flight at 290 if you start a high g turn right then.. DK
  11. From the model shown at skunkwerks dagger..the only thing its lacking is textures DK
  12. asnamara..the patch for the walmart version has been out for some time to bring it up to the gold release..contact thirdwire for further information DK
  13. Naw..see..I'm what they call an airborne qualified mudhumper..I jumped outta perfectly good airplanes..(43 of em in fact..2 combat of the two combat one was HALO)...its us airborne qualified types that haveta go bail out da marines..after all..wherever the marines go..they blow things up all around em..I think they believe the pins are supposed to be out of the grenades for storage.. 91 D 20's rule DK
  14. Having read about the real flight that scene depicts..Yeager admitted he was in G LOC for a bit before he was able to punch out..by the time he was able to do so..he didn't think he had enough altitude left to recover..and since the engine was dead he wouldn't have been able to use it in the spin recovery..the turbine had gone into a compressor stall as well. So he popped the seat...He caught a lot of hot water for taking that plane up without permission or a scheduled test..I think he even lost rank over it DK
  15. this might be something with the "hardpoints" on the aircraft or the Flight Model..good post..worth looking into DK
  16. When padlocked, if you use the snap view forward to do a quick check of the panel and for terrain out the hud and then back to padlock, the only way you can get out of padlock is to physically hit the 2d cockpit command F1, If you don't use the snap view to check forward, just hitting the padlock button will take you out of padlock..of the two..I prefer the second. Might or might not be an easy fix..but in other sims where there is but one padlock function..(not including F4 since switching between the two means switching to s different set of textures..) like IL2..just hitting the padlock again takes you back to straight out the "hud" or forward panel view..also..a lift line on the canopies would also be nice as a reference point when the target is at your 3-9 line in WVR engagements..ala F4, and FA18 (yes there is one stock out of the box..check your other commands section in FA18) DK
  17. Something I've noticed..

I don't want them to change that..but when the fight is over..hitting padlock again to return to normal hud view would be better..using the snap views should not cause the padlock button to not release padlock and let you return to regular view..I mean..I only got so many buttons on my HOTAS..LOL DK
  18. I'm runnin 98 SE and flying multiplayer all the time within the 667th for now..The one thing I have noticed about SF in its current state is it HATES any kind of fragmenting in the HDD which 98SE is prone to..if its giving you problems..scan disk, defrag, reboot, close all background programs and then try it..it might just surprise you DK
  19. Well..us army boys are always the ones who have to go bail out the marines... DK
  20. When XP was released many XP users were upset..out of the box..XP did not support MS own sticks..dunno about now..I'm still runnin 98 waitin on Saitek to get done fixin their XP drivers...that and I am building a new machine this spring DK
  21. CTD's in multiplayer seem common I have a cable connection..hosting myself and another its ok..any more than that we get ctd's..could this be due to other people using different settings for their realism? If so..is there a way that can be included in the patch where the host sets the settings for the session that everyone would have to abide by? DK
  22. Multiplayer CTD's..a thought

No attitude ranger..don't take my posts that way..I just post facts..you brought up a question..I just stated that it was confirmed via repeat testing..thats all DK
  23. Multiplayer CTD's..a thought

This was just myself and him..we repeated it consistently three times DK
  24. I think if TK agreed to tweak the AI that realistic thrust, lift, etc wouldn't be a bad idea..however TK has said that he is planning on tweaking the flight models for the aircraft as well...lets see what he does first.. DK
  25. Multiplayer CTD's..a thought

Well..in testing with another member of 667th, we purposely set our settings different, mine on hard as host, full real everything and his at normal..first round it was like that..when he respawned it reverted to his settings..next missile hit..he ctd'd.. DK
