Operation Desert Shepherd
331Killerbee replied to Piecemeal's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Mission/Campaign Building Discussion
CL is right....2 Weeks tops. With Supply Ships, Support Ships and all. All depending on how fast through the Canal Zones. Of course, MAU's are always out. (MAF's nowadays) They are in every Ocean. 24/7. One in every "Major" Ocean. An All-Navy Task Force may be faster, depending on Objective. Alantic Fleet is quicker to the Persian Gulf than the "PAC" Fleet....The "I.O." crossing making a difference. -

I've spent more time on Carriers, (CV,CVN,LPH,LHA's) Carrier Qualin', SitReps, Alpha's........Than I ever deployed on Land Base.....In our crest, it does say "Department of the Navy"........ Went on a Det on an LHA that left Japan and made it off the coast of Isreal in just short of two Weeks.... 331KillerBee -

Operation Desert Shepherd
331Killerbee replied to Piecemeal's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Mission/Campaign Building Discussion
The first XXX amount of Squadrons are "Locked" by the .CAT......You can add to the Squadron .INI....But, You can't Re-name Defaults.....The Original Campaigns are the same way.....Can be copied and Changed....But the Originals that come with the game, stay the same. -
Operation Desert Shepherd
331Killerbee replied to Piecemeal's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Mission/Campaign Building Discussion
It's because the .CAT still holds the Original Squadron.ini......Got to make a New Squadron in the Squadron.ini to reflect this.... You know (SquadronXXX) Name=... DisplayName= Nation= ..........ect. BTW.....Try putting a Copy of the Squadronlist.ini in Your PilotData Folder too.... 331KillerBee -

Wrench, Ole' Buddy. I'm in the process of transfering Data from My old Puter' to a new one I got over the Holidays. But I will have it fired up for Your Entries Tomorrow. A-4's/OA-4's........Aft section of Tail, Just left of the Tail Hook. A-6's/EA-6A's &B's..Just foward of the Tail Hook. F/A-18's.......Just Aft of Landing Gears...Both Sides. F-8's........ALE-2 Pods. EF-10B's....ALE-2 Pods. OV-10's.....On the sides of the Booms. C-130's.....On the sides of the Main Gear Blisters. AH-1's......Sides and Top of both Pylons CH-46's....Top of Landing Gear Housings. CH-53's.....(Same) RF-4's........None, Until the "Bee Line" Mods in the early 80's. T/AV-8A's & C's...Just behind the Air Breaks. AV-8B's (Early)...(Same) AV-8B Plus....Behind Air Break and four Buckets on upper section of Aft Fuselage. Can't think of any more, right off hand. Old Man, LOL.But, I'll do a Thread with these locations down pat. I had done them over at another Forum some time back......Seems to be gone. SEMPER FI! 331KillerBee -
