A PDF file with a simple list of what kinds of homing mechanisms Soviet Air-To-Air Missiles have, next to the names they have in the latest Weapons Pack. Color Coded for easy ID; and great for figuring out what kind of approach to use with a R-60TM APHID C missile.

  3. Been trying to mod a F-104G to carry it for ASM strikes, like the German marineflieger did; I've checked the mass of the weapon station, and the attachment type; but I can't figure out which "AllowedWeaponClass" the Kormorant is... I've checked it in the weapon and gun editor, and it says its "Inertially homing", which I can't find the allowedclass for; and besides, the Komorant is an Active Radar Homing ASM anyway...
  4. File Name: Enhanced Red Lightning '79 Campaign File Submitter: MKSheppard File Submitted: 25 Aug 2006 File Category: SF Missions/Campaigns This expands the 1979 Red Lightning campaign to include: 1.) SPECAT Jaguar for the RAF; you'll need the addon. 2.) F-111A Aardvark for the USAAF You'll need the F-111A Pack. Sadly, the default german map doesn't extend to england, which is where the F-111A was based, so it's not totally realistic. 2.) Adds the VVS, with MiG-23M, MiG-27, MiG-21MF, and Su-7BM 3.) Adds the East German AF, two units, MiG-21MF and Su-7BM 4.) Adds the Polish AF, two units, MiG-21MF and Su-7BM 5.) Adds a description of what plane each squadron flies, no more guessing! I thought about adding carrier operations, but the map was too limited for a carrier, and secondly, the USN in WW3 would be involved with keeping the sea lanes open, and battling the soviets in Norway, to worry about the central front. The Stock WOE/WOV/whatever figures have it so that 9,000 feet (2743~m) is normal. While that works fine for WWII Eastern Front Combat; it doesn't work well for the rest of WWII; or for the higher and faster jet aircraft postwar. 6500m, or 21,325 feet as normal works quite well I've found in my missions.
  9. Got the latest weapns pack; there are a variety of errors, like: AGM-69A SRAM does not show up for the FB-111A in loadout screens, despite it being in the loadout.ini file. WWII USAF aircraft don't get HVAR rockets on rocket pylons: P-51Rkt_Rack F82_Rack P-38_Rack
  10. I fixed the FB-111 SRAM problem Go into your FB-111A_DATA.ini file and add the following to the weapon station types: CGR and the SRAMs will show up....

  18. Title is self explanatory; it would be a real boon if there was a unified ground objects pack which was updated like the weapons pack. As it is adding the stuff yourself to your groundobjectsdata.ini file one by one does get tedious...
  19. Update: At first, I was hoping to have one huge unified pack with SA-9ML_Winter SA-9ML_Euro SA-9ML_Desert Co-existing and being called by the terrain, but it appears that's not possible, so I'm going back to separate packs. So far I've gotten at least five different pack ideas: WinterGOP (self explanatory) DesertGOP (self explanatory) EuroGOP (self explanatory) WW2GOP (self explanatory) GeneralGOP (For those things that don't fit in the other categories, like ships, or ships that saw long service past WW2) I'll also be doing a comprehensive set of desert and winter skins for virtually everything, to expand on Pasko's packs

  22. No I don't need help, this is just a very tedious process; and I don't like auto installers.
  23. Started work on it; the biggest problem I'll have is probably tracking down Pasko, and the various creators who have disappeared over the years for their permission.
