Help with creating mission using submarine to attack land targets

Awesome ! Thanks for checking this out for me. This is exactly what I was trying to achieve, and with the same terrain too. I tried to duplicate with limited success since I have not done much mission editing before. The process seems straight forward however I'm sure to be lacking some knowledge in some of the finer details. When I add scud launchers, they do not show up as targets when in the game and pressing "M" for map. I don't see where they are placed ( in Red ) like in your screenshot above. Plus in some cases the submarines don't fire at times. Does the Tomahawk for example, have to be within a certain range of the launching submarine? Also does it need a direct line of sight or would the Tomahawk be able to go further inland and over mountains? Would you be able to upload that mission you made here so I can review how you set it up? Even if it's not a complete mission, I want to see how targets were set up specifically and any other details that I might be missing in creating a mission. -

I get what you are saying. Or have an enemy destroyer be a land based object like a scud missile launcher or radar antenna. So the Tomahawk has something to target on land. -

Just starting out making a few A2A and A2G missions and the SF2 editor seems pretty straight forward when it comes to creating aircraft missions. But I'm not understanding how to create targets for water based craft. I understand that SF2 editor is primarily an aircraft game but was wondering how to utilize some of these add on objects that are available like submarine or destroyers that have weapons modeled into the mod. When I add the submarine for example , it just has it's co-ordinance , speed and how many. There's not an option showing what to target like it does with aircraft. I'm using Los Angeles class attack submarine by WhiteBoySamurai And Strike Fighters 2 North Atlantic as the directions recommend. Says it has ( Improved version (688i) commissioned in 1985, using Harpoons, plus Tomahawk missiles in twelve vertical launch tubes.) Just trying to figure out how to deploy them. Specifically to use tomahawks to destroy ground targets if that is possible.

Yikes! $500. I can certainly understand the reason for holding off on the upgrade. I will contact Snacko and see if he knows of a Touchbuddy profile for Strike Fighters that may have been available. I'm working on creating a simple one now, but thought it might be helpful to see how one is made specific to that series. Thanks Erik.

Not sure where to post this but anybody know about the Touchbuddy site. Says it's closed for repairs for a while now. I was hoping to download a profile for Strike Fighters project 1 if they had it. But the site has been down since I started trying a few weeks ago. https://touch-buddy.com/
