  1. Jasta Boelcke Alb DIII's pics?

Nice work again, Quack. There aren't many Jasta 2, Albatros D.III photos. I think You've covered 'em all except maybe this one: http://flickcabin.com/public/view/full/33103 There are two photo references for it in the Osprey 'Jasta Boelcke' book, on pages 40 and 48. Apparently, it was Kempf's machine. The fuselage is black, and the wings are standard brown/green camo. Hope that helps. Bucky
  2. Is there a problem w Naval 1 download?

It's been a scorcher of a weekend here too...And not just weatherwise. Chelsea won the FA cup.... YAY!!!
  3. Triplane schemes.

Hey, Quack74! Most excellent Dr.I skins, man...Keep 'em comin'! All the best. Bucky PS. D'you do requests?
  4. Triplane schemes.

    Pukka!
  5. Bomber FMs

Terrific stuff, Peter! Once you've released these Bomber FM's, IMO the game will be at its absolute peak of development since its release nearly three years ago now. I don't wanna put you to any extra trouble, but is there any chance you could include a Bristol F2b DATA.INI both with and without the overwing Lewis?...I never could get my head 'round how to do that "My dummy station" thing... Whatever, thanks very much again for your considerable efforts. Bucky
  6. Hannover CL.II & CL.III - Released

Well, it just so happens I'm wearing mine... I still can't get over how fast you produced this...Absolutely amazing! Many thanks.
  7. Hey, Laton!

Most excellent, Geezer...Very realistic! He's almost an exact replica of the little 1/72 scale gunner that came with the Airfix, Roland C.II model kit I built when I was a kid. Well done, mate! Bucky
  8. German Bomber FMs

Hi guys. Just to say that in terms of historical accuracy, you wouldn't have to make as much room for the Staaken's as you would for Gotha's. Staaken's were used in small numbers, usually two or three per mission. Gotha's were utilised in much greater numbers...Anything from four, up to 25 or so. Regards. Bucky
  9. unable to upload screen shots in threads

If you wanna do it pronto, upload 'em to one of those free image hosting sites and give us the link.
  10. Fantastic new terrains?

Magnificent!...This looks like the terrain we've all been waiting for! Please be quick planting those trees Jan! Bucky
  11. Morane Type L

Here's something you don't see every day: http://users.telenet.be/geert.woussen/mora...arasol%20L.html
  12. Anyone else have this problem with FE?

Ask TK over at the ThirdWire forum...He'll put you straight, for sure. Regards. Bucky
  13. Some FMs that needed rework

Excellent work Peter! Your continuous support for all the third party add-on a/c is what makes this game a cut above IMO! More power to you. Bucky
  14. My 1/4 scale Fokker Dr1

Most excellent, Quack...Got any in flight shots? Now you're something of an expert on Dr.I colour schemes, I'll bet it's really tempting to repaint it, or correct the slight inaccuracies, eh? I've got a large Triplane kit myself, although I haven't built it yet...Maybe when I retire?: It's the Hasegawa 1/8 scale 'Museum Model', which shows all the internal structure. Here's an official Hasegawa promo photo: http://thumbnail.image.rakuten.co.jp/@0_ma.../fokker-18m.jpg
  15. Triplane schemes.

Don't think so...I'd go for the standard finish with sky blue cowlings etc. The rear fuselage was silver up to the coloured fuselage bands. Don't know about the cowlings, but I reckon most would've had the factory olive cowl. Dunno,...probably not. Not much help, eh?
  16. Triplane schemes.

Yeah, photo's of DrI's from some Jasta's are almost non existent, but you have done Udet's Jasta 4 machine, and Mai's from J5, so as far as I'm concerned you've done what you can. I suppose you could do semi-conjectural versions of J4 & J5. Greg VanWyngarden, in 'Fokker Dr.I aces of WW1', states that Jasta 4 Triplanes probably had pale blue cowlings, wheel covers and (possibly) tailplanes. Jasta 5 probably had red cowlings struts and wheel covers, with light green tails and rear fuselage. Jasta 4 & 5 both received their "hand-me-down" (from Jasta's 6 & 11) Triplanes in late April/early May, so only the late 'Balkankreuz' type cross would be applicable.
  17. Triplane schemes.

If you want, I'll see what Jasta 32 pics or documentation I've got and send it over.
  18. Hannover CL.III

It's another winner Laton...A real beauty! The FM feels good to me: Quite heavy, slowish in the turn and not too fast, just as I imagine the sturdy Hannover would probably have handled. Regarding the rear gunner: Personally, I don't like to see their legs poking through the fuselage. Quick question: I was wondering if you're gonna leave the fuselage grey, or are you going to replicate the 'painted lozenge' effect? Whatever, thanks very much for producing another fantastic model! Bucky
  19. Triplane schemes.

    Nice work there Quack...Really like the blue outline on the tail! So, you've now produced Dr.I skins for Jasta's: 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, 14, 15, 18, 19, 26 & 27. I think that leaves only Jasta's: 32B, 34B & 36 for the complete set!
  20. Thicker clouds and Laton's Effects...

Yeah, I'm using both too. FWIW, I haven't seen any difference in the 'fuller clouds' mod when using the 'ParticleSystem.ini' from Laton's new 'smoke effects'. Regards. Bucky
  21. My next project

Hey Jarkko!...Great choice man! And Geezer...That's really excellent modelling. Well done mate!
  22. "I went down to engage him..."

Laton, you're THE MAN!...A Hannover was gonna be my first choice if I won the screenshot competition! How d'you produce 'em so fast? You must have a team working for you, surely? Amazing stuff...Really!
  23. Some new effects

You could win your own screenshot competition with that Camel rear view picture, Laton! Oh, BTW...I'm just not having it that those clouds are stock, like you told me a few weeks ago! Excellent work, as ever! Bucky
  24. Get a loada this fella's! http://thevintageaviator.co.nz/projects/fe...lying-masterton Magnificent, eh?
  25. Next Expansion Pack.

Hey, guys! Good info, straight from the horses mouth...Not that I'm calling TK a horse, you understand! http://bbs.thirdwire.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=6429 Personally, I think the German "single-seater" will be the Pfalz D.III. Bucky
