I have FS2k and FS2k2. I have to say, nothing out there better conveys the 'feeling' of flight, especially in the small general aircraft. The flight models aren't too great, compared to say X-Plane and Il-2, but the graphics are incredable. That is my only gripe with the product. If they could only have realistic flight models for all aircraft.

I need to change my Avatar. I need one of the Citadel and the Navy. Gues what guys! My vision is pilot qualified in the Navy! Not fighters, but helos and the like. And if I decide to do LASIK, it'll be fully qualified. Or, maybe there'll be something better in four years. Either way, I'm gonna fly. Halleluja!

So thats what I have to look forward to. Do officers get better water accomodations?

I'm looking for something ala US Navy Fighters '97. I know, that old terrain is pretty bad, but I just enjoyed the feel of it. I want some nice muddy yellow brown rice paddy's, palm trees and lush jungle. Also, is it possible to modify the current trees into a single object of five or so trees? Like they've done in WWII Fighters?

I can't see how it would recognize your joystick as a PCI device. Do you have the latest version of DirectX installed?

Have you tried updating the sound card drivers in addition to the stick drivers?

Something cool about this plane, and an excellent idea I though. Theres a control or something within the cockpit that allows the pilot to literally sidestep the aircraft for strafing runs. It basically deploys the clam-shell speedbrake on one aileron combined with full opposite rudder. So, in those A2G strafing runs on trucks and tanks moving perpendicular to you, you don't have to worry about maintaining alignment, just match your sideslip with their movement rate.

I think it is in the root USAF directory. Might try just searching for it in USAF. Didn't know it could change all that though, might wanna try it myself.

Like the sandy runway / taxiways. Is this a Kola Peninsula Campaign?

I don't know, it seemed really smooth during normal play, but I thought I felt it stutter a bit. It definately began to lose FPS over big cities. Maybe its because I always ran it at full graphics, everything. I dunno. I'll tell you how it runs on my Alienware, when I get it, lol.

You don't need canards, just large control surfaces. I think an F-15 can do it, or at least, I have in Jane's F-15, lol. I know an Su-27 can, and they don't have canards.

I wasn't so much thinking about a specific type, just thinking of expanding SF with newer, more in depth ground textures. I want to see ground textures as good as Falcon 4.0 some day.
