Trying to get back into Combat Sims

After a major crash of my computer that happened in a move when I retired from the AF, I stopped playing flight sims and started with things like WOW or Witcher.  I would like to get back into flight sims and start with something relatively simple that has a campaign.  I do own (according to STEAM and GOG) a few flight sims but am open to any suggestions.  I do not have head tracking but do have a relatively ok HOTAS.  I also own IL-2 1946 on both GOG and STEAM, Red Baron, and a couple of the IL-2 different games in the series that I have never played but purchased when they were on sale.  Totally open to any suggestions on where to RESTART!

F-22 Total Air War, EF2000, Longbow 1, Longbow 2 are a few of my old school favorites. Falcon BMS would probably be the best modern sim.

EF2000 in my opinion was far ahead it's time though
