Lost33 Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago I’ve been playing DCS for a while now, and my experience has been shaped a lot by the fact that I’m running it on a mid-range laptop rather than a high-end desktop. As many of you know, DCS can be quite demanding, so getting it to run smoothly has been both a challenge and a learning process. Despite these limitations, what keeps me hooked is the depth of the simulation. Learning aircraft systems, practicing procedures, and gradually improving my flying skills has been incredibly rewarding. Flying modules like modern jets or even simpler aircraft still feels engaging, even if my hardware sometimes struggles to keep up during more intense missions. 1
