So every plane rolls to the right in flight, this is with simple controls with all engine/atmosphere handling options off. I thought it might be my joystick (Warthog HOTAS) but I upgraded the firmware and recalibrated.

I also tried other sims including 1946, Great Battles, DCS, MSFS 2024 and several space games and they are all fine.

Google says its my flightstick but if every other sim/game i tried is fine is that really true?

ok i just tried the game without the joystick plugged in and it still rolls so its definitely not my flight stick.

No idea what is causing this though

Do you have any other input peripheral that might be read like an axis and that the game might pick up at the roll axis ?
I had a similar problem with another game due to one of the axis of a BlackHog controller being read as a flight axis despite it being attributed properly to the stick.

Edit: Weird, I could have sworn I answered you earlier, must have forgotten to post it. *shrugs*

delete and reinstall. also go into joystick settings properties and see if all the buttons and axis are working and re-calibrate. go into search window and type joy.cpl to bring up joystick properties window.

I will try the reinstall thing and see if that works

Ok i think CoD is just borked, I reinstalled, still rolls, tried the stick plugged direct into the main board (recalibrated in Win and Wiz) and it worked fine, tried it on the front panel for convenience (again recalibrated Win and Wiz) and the plane rolled. Plugged it back into the main board in a different USB slot and recalibrated and it rolled again

How can a piece of software be so damn sensitive?

Tried putting it back in the usb slot that worked before but its rolling again.
Think im gonna give up on CoD and just play Great Battles...shame as i wanted to fly the desert content. Lets hope they add the desert stuff to Great Battles
