American flag

Anyone have an American flag I can use? Don't want to have to buy First Flight to put a flag over a Special Forces Camp...since my result is free. It took a week to do A Shau and Dak Seang with the objects we have in WOV. I just want to run up the flag.

I cant recall the exact locale without seeing the movie, twas Nam close to TET...."The Siege of Firebase Gloria". If your familar with it, how bout a mission.??????

I have to complete the Citadel at Hue for the Tet Offensive.

 

I have a Fire Support Base already...with revetments and all that. I'd like an antenna for the SF Camps...and a flag.

 

I don't remember who did the smoke enhancement mod but you got to have that! It's ART!

 

They are all different kinds of missions. Some are like nothing in any game anywhere...well, except the Vietnam War. Too bad it's free. Nobody will notice it. In some ways, it's better than WOV. Sort of the Bastard Child.

 

But you have to want to do more than punch autopilot, lock-on, shoot and then look at the skin. On one mission, you have to make a short field landing to succeed. Another, you have to wind through canyons. You drop bombs under flares over the HCM Trail at night. You Radar Intercept, Navigate, and on the Arc Light or Sky Puke, you have to compute when to let them go...over the cloud deck. You ARE the FAC and they will follow directions in a couple. Watching while you play is pretty interesting also since there are critters in the mix. I created Small Arms fire so if you stay above it, you are okay. All the other AAA is too deadly. Photo Recon Escort (see my RF4C? well, almost). Road Recce. Rapacious overuse of napalm.

 

Thorough Mission Briefs before each. Still just stick rudder and trigger.

 

I have to say that the people who drew this stuff are amazing. Easy to get inspired.
