I would like to fly more helos in WOV, that was the helo war, but i am having problem flying them. They fly like airplanes with wheels , is there a mod to change the way they fly , make them take off vertically ?

SFP1 is basically an airplane sim but we try to shoehorn the simulation of a helicopter flying. We cannot hover for example, we can fly very slow and vertically by using Thrust Vectoring.

 

All of the helos (SP3 and SP4 updated) support Thrust Vectoring, but you need to set the keys to control the up/down TV.

 

So no, you cannot take of vertically, but you can be in the air in a few feet by applying full power and then setting the TV controls in the down nozzle position

well it needs an texture first and probally some tweaking, so not soon i bet.

 

i like the helicopters in game, wish somebody would make an apache (hint hint )

And add some hellfire missles so we dont use the mavericks on the heli's.

There are already Hellfires and TOW's in the Weapons Pack.

 

The Hellfire is the AGM-114 and the TOW is the BGM71, I think there is also a quad pod for the TOW.

 

I sent Bunyap a new Quad Pod for the Hellfire's

 

Note the Hellfires in the Lynx? Those are the AGM-114 in the pack.
