I am having diffculties adding the A-26B Done by capun and his team-friend-colliueges. I have edited the Rolling Thunder campaign data. I wind up with a unit that I don't want. I wind up the TFS Foxy Few with the F-105 Thud.

I will post my Campaign code if someone would could edit it. I don't know what I did wrong.

Greatly appreciative

I am not a campaing maker but I can see a couple of problems

- Your dates need a full Month/day/Year format, you are only using two of them

- Did you change the A-26B ServiceEndYear to match your campaing? The release version has 1955 as the EOL.

[MissionData]

NationName=USAF

ServiceStartYear=1944

ServiceEndYear=1955 ; may want to change this

I did change the end service date to 1975 (just to be safe) and editied the other date. I still get that stupid 12th TFS Foxy Few Squadron (which is the first USAF unit on the list in the Campaign data).

Thanks for the advice though. I am trying hard to work on coding.

Jake:

Bring up campaign data in wordpad. Cut your A-26 outfit from 162 and paste it over the Thud outfit.

Leave it as AirUnit001. Then go to campaign.ini and change the squadron.

Give this a shot. I have been modding campaigns since EAW and it takes a little getting used to.

I gave it a shot.

Now instead of giving me a different unit, it know crashes the caimpaign. But I think that it has to do with the weapons pack. My main computer crashed yesterday and I have to take in to get serviced. I am working on my laptop and its time to redownload the weapons pack.

Thanks for the help

Jake:

Let me know how it comes out.

If weps pack doesn't work PM me at Combatace and we will hash it over to get you up and running.

I noticed that the default skin you have for the aircraft is spelled SLIVER instead of silver.

Something that small can make a difference. Campaigns have a lot of info to store and there can be many variables.

In the meantime I will put your aircraft in my sim and check it out.

Good luck

Isn't the name of the skin in the silver skin folder. I found an ini file that said something about texture and so I changed it to that. I am still hammering it out.

I will probably contact you when I get home. I am in animation class right know.

I have a hunch that your problem is the wrong unit ID. I may be wrong (as I usually am), but on working on a campaign and having the same problem as you (see http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?showtopic=12074&hl=) I discovered that the Unit ID is only counting all the same force IDs. This may be sort of hard with over 150 planes, but what you need to do is start from the begining and count all the aircraft with force ID= 1 until you get to the A-26. That number is your unit ID. No fear! I did it for you! I think that that number is 155 (162 aircraft minus 7 force ID=2).
