Desent jet sims?

Hi guys i am a religiouse il2 flyer and thought about a change for a few nights a week.

What is the best jet sim to get, in graffix and game play. Online community is also important.

I also forgot that i love to skin aircraft.

Checkout the Thirdwire series Strike Fighters/Wings Over Vietnam / WIngs over Europe.

 

There are thousands of free mods on this site in the downloads section - including countless Planes to skin.

If you were to choose Wings Over Vietnam - you are still in a close combat situation - mainly because the missiles are cr*p - but its an entirely new way of fighting compared to WW2.

The avionics are simple - and its a relatively easy game to get into - and once you have been playing it for a while its something you can just play when you have a 15 mins :)

if online play is important to you then LOMAC or Falcon 4 would probably be better for you than the Third Wire series but they have a steeper learning curve.

For excellent Graphics you will be hard-pressed to beat LockOn - gameplay rocks too but as said above a steep learning curve - said that there is plenty of help...

I'd suggest Lock-On, Strike Fighters Project 1, Wings Over Vietnam/Europe, Falcon 4 /AF (if you have a lot of time and really like comprehensive sims).

Falcon 4 AF has a truely steep learning curve,but it's hard ot beat it's campain,and for on-line play theres Multiviper.the Strike Fighters/Wings over Vietnam/Wings over Europe sims are hard to beat with all the add-ons and mods plus they are sim lights.Graphics on these 3 truely are great.Lomac is good but watch for the Flaming Cliffs add-on as it uses Star Force.
