Is it possible to edit a file to change the climb out angle for jet aircraft?

In the A-6 we used to accelerate to over 300 knots and climb at that speed.

Best manuevering speed of aircraft with load,instead of best climb rate.

I've changed MaxInitial which works ok for take off,but not after.

It gets a little worrisome to be climbing at 160 knots at 25000 ft over Indian Country(Bad Guy Territory) with Migs around.

Under the [AIData] section of the aircraft's data INI, add the following line:

MaxPitchForAltitude=30.0

30 degrees is the default, so you'll probably want to drop it to 20 or so and test. You can adjust this parameter in conjunction with "ClimbSpeed=" in the [FlightControl] section until you get the results you are looking for. Remember to use meters per second whenever you set a speed in the data INI.

I'm curious about this 'climb out'.

Aren't you, the pilot, in control of your climb angle and speed?
