What's the best way to approach this?

I've been working on an F-2 skin for the F-16 but it's taking some time, you know, christmas, raves, work etc. But a while ago I made a makeshift Mitsubishi F-2B:

 

 

 

Only problem is that I think I made it from a skin from Madjeff's F-16B. But I can't get in contact with him. So I'm guessing I can't release this but I just wanted to know what my options are about releasing this...
