i notice some of my aircraft seem to move up and down while n auto pilot what would cause that

There was a thread at the Thirdwire forum about that, and I think the conclusion was that it makes it more realistic. I'll have to search for it. The info for the autopilot would probably be in the Flightengine.ini, that you'd have to extract from the flightdata.cat. The knowledge base has info on extracting and editing.

I like the movement, it gives a scents of motion and not to mention it gives a more real feel. I like the effect!

It is only annoying when making movies. Sometimes the planes bounce quite a lot. When I am trying to film the player plane, it is better to go on to wing leveller. The idea of the planes porpoising is to stop it looking like a 2-D cartoon.
