I am unable to load any SRAM missiles on to any fighter I have in the game. I have downloaded the latest weapon pack and I have checked to make sure that the aircraft can use EOGR weapons, made sure that I was flying in the right time period, and other things like nation and attachment type. Is there anything else that I need to check?

Can the pylon take the weight and length of the SRAM? SRAM wasn't made to go onto just any fighter as it was a big missile. So I think that is the reason why you can't load it.

Well, the one plane I've really been trying to use this with is the FB-111, which, as far as I can tell from previous posts I've read, should be able to carry the missile. But when every I load a FB-111 single mission, the SRAM just doesn't appear in the weapons inventory list at all, even though the FB-111 loadout.ini calls for them.

Check your date as the SRAM is only available after 1972.

same for me.. availability is correct.

I use the 1980 year to be safe.

its weight is what 1000.00000...

FB can handle 3000 per station (2100 for bomb bay) and 200 for center..

Still it isn't working... I changed

Availibity=

I changed that from 0 to 1 to 2 to 3.

everytime still nothing...

Maybe I should get a new weapon editor? I mean I changed it through the ini file..

open and saved WE, then tried to edit it through WE..

I even upped the weight limit for the plane and dropped the missile weight to 10!!!! and it still didn't work

can you show us what you values are under the WEAPONDATA.INI for your SRAM are and I can try and copy and paste to see if it works?

also maybe a look at your data for the FB-111A?

Open the weapon editor and change the guidance from RADIO COMMAND to TV homing.....

thanks for that USAFMTL... it seems that was what needed to be done.. now I am good to go..

By the by, is that Radio Command the real layout or is TV Homing true? (I kind of like to keep things as real as possible but if its in a case like this I am willing to bend).

Just curious.. anyway definitely thanks for letting me know!

The real guidance used by the SRAM is not supported by the sim. SO its either TV Homing or nothing.

I was wondering if radio commnad guidance works. Someone add CGR to there weapons stations in the data.ini and then set the SRAM back to a radio command. Then try it out. I do not have my SF with me at all so I can not try this. Can some try this please and report back here with their findings? Thanks

What range were you able to get it to fire at?

well with the F-15E on the Bombing Range I managed to make the blast radius take out the object from 10000ft and 36nm

I took shots from 60, and 50, with both times the missile undershooting by problably 2-3nm or maybe a lil bit more, but you could always see the target even when it crashed.. I'll try 20,000 ft later to see if height may have been an issue.
