Talon speeds and fire

First off, many thanks to zurtech/zurawski for the excellent plane!!!

 

I tried flying the latest version and wonder if there's a guideline as to how fast or at least for how long one can set after burners without causing the plane engines to catch fire? Thanks

Yep - that's the version I'm trying. Try it too - push the afterburners to full and see how long/what speeds it flames up. I wonder if there's a pattern...haven't tested it enough to tell, which is why I'm wondering if there's some kind of guideline? Wonder if it's part of the sim's engine?

Talk to Zur then. He might be able to help you. I downloaded it last night and haven't had any problems with this updated version.

is this version mach-5 capable?

can i ncage my sidewinders now?

i've had trouble knowing if my sidewinder is tracking or not

resultng in misses

i am downloading the new talon fighter as i am typing this..

i still have to see if the engine sounds resemble that of in the movie stealth.

i wish zur mods it up.

i am sck of the whine of an ordinary jet engine.
