Guest Sony Tuckson Posted May 11, 2003 Posted May 11, 2003 Here are three screenshots of the latest situation regarding Draken texturing.... next step will be fading decals a bit to better match general aspect pics are reduced in size for posting hope this will interrest some of you, and not only the few Swedish ones (neither me nor LVP being Swedish for the matter ) Quote
El Gato Posted May 11, 2003 Posted May 11, 2003 wow, looks great, cant wait till i get my new rig to join all of u in the air... btw, what kinds of armorments can the draken carry>? Quote
Guest Sony Tuckson Posted May 11, 2003 Posted May 11, 2003 In Swedish service, it was mostly used in the air to air role. Swedish versions of sidewinder and falcons were standard loads In Denmark, after F16 service introduction it shifted to mud mover role with many standard U.S. bombs avbl to it. Austrians use it for interception with late generation aim-9's No precise idea of how Finish used it  Quote
+ext Posted May 11, 2003 Posted May 11, 2003 Very Impressive!!!!! Keep up the good work. Any guesstimate of a relese date. Quote
Capt Zorro Posted May 11, 2003 Posted May 11, 2003 Super Draken!! Can't wait to fly it! In addition to the Finns, Denmark used it as well with a gloss O.D. overall finish. For that version, SAAB added a couple of extra pylons / hardpoints = multi-role capability. Great work!! Capt Zorro P.S. I had a model of it as well - Lindberg did it in @ 1/48 scale. 1/72 scale was covered by Revell, Airfix, and Heller. Think there is a 1/44 scale available curently. Prpbabel missed a couple. Quote
Hawker Posted May 11, 2003 Posted May 11, 2003 Sony, looks freaking great! How about a beta trade, Prowler for Draken? Quote
Lud von Pipper Posted May 12, 2003 Posted May 12, 2003 The RB-27 (Aim-26A) missile is alreadly been made and imported in game. Will be available when the Draken modle will be ready: the only other models carrying it are the F-102 and the Mirage III, both being builded by me and both following the draken, so no hurry right now ;) (bad pic but the rb-27 is on the wing pylon) LvP Quote
Guest Ranger332 Posted May 12, 2003 Posted May 12, 2003 SWEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeT and ty for reducing them for those with dialup connection, I donmt but I know how meny times I was asked to reduce a pic so they could load it. Quote
Lud von Pipper Posted May 13, 2003 Posted May 13, 2003 Well, pics are 800x600 which is a pretty standard jpg format on the web. LvP Quote
+MadJeff Posted May 13, 2003 Posted May 13, 2003 Ranger, 800x600 or even 1024x768 are fine. What I do ask people is not to post 300dpi 1600x1200 images. :D Quote
+MadJeff Posted May 13, 2003 Posted May 13, 2003 Sweet! LvP, you have got to quit teasing us with these shots and release it... :D Quote
Lud von Pipper Posted May 13, 2003 Posted May 13, 2003 Sweet! LvP, you have got to quit teasing us with these shots and release it... :D Lol, the delay is mostly caused by FM issues: it's rather hard to have the plane behave like the real one, and the AI doesn't like the Superstall tendencies of the draken and here end then spins the plane to death while manouvering the jet LvP Quote
Guest Ranger332 Posted May 13, 2003 Posted May 13, 2003 Sweet! LvP, you have got to quit teasing us with these shots and release it... :DYEPPERS DO IT Quote

Guest Sony Tuckson Posted May 20, 2003 Posted May 20, 2003 just to keep you wanting I prepare at least 10 different individual planes with at least 3 wings and 4 squadrons markings.... Quote
