Delta6Actual Posted April 29, 2007 Posted April 29, 2007 I was wondering how I could add a squadron to WOE, specifically for the F-4C. I want to add the 170th TFW 183rdTFG of the Illinois ANG. The tail code was SI. I they had SEA and later Euro 1. I guess I just want to know how to add the tail code, and how to add the 170th to the squadron list. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Quote
+Dave Posted April 29, 2007 Posted April 29, 2007 You need to open the SQUADRONLIST.ini and [squadronxxx] Name=170TFW <-------------- No spaces... DisplayName=170th TFW 183rdTFG Nation=USAF xxx being the last number in the in sequence. Quote

+Dave Posted April 29, 2007 Posted April 29, 2007 Just by adding a squadron though doesn't mean it will add the tail code for you. The tail codes you are going to have to make yourself. But if you did that entry right it does show up as a selectable squadron just you won't have any tail codes. You just have to find it in the list. My squadronlist is almost 400 entries. So I know it works. Quote

Its in the squadron.ini as the next sequential squadron, no spaces, just like you said. Should I restart my computer? Quote
Delta6Actual Posted April 29, 2007 Author Posted April 29, 2007 If you squadronlist in your pilots folder? My squadronlist is in my flight folder. I don't seem to have a pilots folder, just pilotdata. Quote

Delta6Actual Posted April 29, 2007 Author Posted April 29, 2007 Put it in your pilotdata. That did it! It's in there. Thanks for your help. Now, how do I go about designing a tail code, once I do that I'd like to post it here. Quote

Well you can do it one of 2 way, you can paint the SI on the tail itself. Or even better get me some pics and when I am on mid shift tonight I will do it for you. Quote
