Could some one please tell me what the large out rigger on port side of the A/C is and what's it's function?

I can make a guess it's ECM, but like i said thats just a guess!

I think it's a side scan radar for id'ing ground targets.

The pod originally contained a Motorola AN/APS-94 Side Looking Airborne Radar, not sure if it was updated to a whole new unit or just upgraded.
