Wow an RF-8G! Now we're talking. Will the hanger deck of the carrier have aircraft in it?

The finished models will be out in a couple more days.

Midway model by HinChinBrooke, Texture by Diego, Statics and little dudes by Crab.

The RF-8G by Crab. Painted by Sundowner and Diego.

Details by a Vietnam Era Naval Aviator.

We would have had it ready sooner but 3 of us lost hard drives, real life was a bitch, and this is a HUGE undertaking.

The missions for which these are props? They will knock your socks off.

We have quite a few tricks still up our sleeve.

Just to echo the CAG's statement, you will feel like you are there. I swear on my kids. I have never, never, never been so immersed, tense, and using the English language foul mouth dictionary as I have for this set of missions. We have tested and triple re-tested making things work, and still testing. And, we probably still missed something.

Doing some research for these missions I was totally caught up in the real life accounts by the Men who were there. Once the CAG made them for YAP/WOV it became even more so. Toto we ain't in Kansas, the yellow brick road going "downtown" is fraught with peril. The Mekong Delta ain't no swimming hole and there isn't a tire swing on a tree on a sunny Saturday at the shoreline, only little people who's mission in life is to ruin your day.

The only bonfire you will see at night, may be the flames licking at your tanks. Like the CAG says, "get low, get fast, get out or you will be living in a bamboo cage with a snake." If your still alive.
